There's a mistake in HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey , so I'd like to ask that someone fix it, or that I be given editing rights. The mistake is that in the section on CentOS 6, step 8, the correct command is "syslinux /dev/sdb1" (only). I did the dd of the ISO to a 16G USB device. the second partition is FAT so I can edit it - I want to make a custom menu entry. I edited the grub.cfg - but that did not work - my menu option does not show. Then I think I need to change BOOT.cfg and generate the grub.cfg - but I dont know in this case how to generate for the USB device. What command do I use for that ? Thanks, Jerry

I have been following these instructions: https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=501 to put a bunch of utilities (Clonezilla, SystemRescue, CentOS netinstall/rescue, etc.) on a single USB key. Has anyone successfully built a USB key for installing centos5.5 either manually or using a tool like unetbootin? I am trying to create one using the 64bit install DVD iso and so far the USB either won't boot (unetbootin) or the installation aborts after I select the iso location on the USB key (manual). Hello list, I found an error on the page http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey, and I wanted to fix it, but appararently I need to follow this procedure.
