Do I really have the right ATrpms repo?
I copied exactly where Axel provided into atrmps.repo. I have the line: atrpms.repo:baseurl=http://dl.atrpms.net/el5-x86_64/atrpms/stable but the rpms that are being flagged as updates pretty much all have fc5 in their names. e.g.: ---> Package mplayer-fonts.noarch 4:1.0-7.at set to be updated ---> Package mplayer.i386 4:1.0-60_r23482.fc5 set to be updated ---> Package

ATrpms repo
Tried mailing the maintainer, but didn't get a response -- anyone know what's happened to the ATrpms repo? Not only is http://atrpms.net/name/dovecot/ empty, but: http://packages.atrpms.net/dist/el6/ seems to return a 404. Some of the mirrors still have the packages, but does anyone know if they're going to continue to build 2.2.x packages? w

Centos 5 - Setting up yum for ATrpms
I think I found one of my setup problems. I followed instructions at: http://atrpms.net/install.html And now I see that the information shown there to put into yum.conf (that I put into yum.repo.d/atrpms.repo) is only for FC, not for RL5 (thus Centos 5). What do I use in my atrmps.repo to get it to access the RL5 directories?

Configuring atrpms repo?
Afternoon, Sorry for being dense but I can seem to configure the repo for atrpms correctly. I've tried a few things and none of them seem to work so rather than embarrass myself in regard to yum repo configuration, can someone post the repo configuration? TIA! Jeff

ATRpms repo question...
Hi. I'm fairly new with CentOS but have been using version 4.2 with great satisfaction (Thank you!). I've been using repos such as Dag and Dries successfully to keep my packages up to date. (I've seen many posts which allow me to believe that these repos won't change CentOS compatibility to RHEL4 or to migrate it another distro for that matter!) My question applies to the

atrpms nvidia cannot load
Hi guys - brand new 5.1 install here and quite happy - but... The nv driver did not work at all for me, fritzy stripes and dots. This is a GeForce 7300 LE which was working happily dual-head under FC6 with the livna nvidia RPMs So I looked around and it seemed like the ATRpms repo via yum was the best option for CentOS. This is what I installed, it worked great with the xorg.conf from the

Unable to start Asterisk 1.4 on CentOS 4.4 (installed from ATrpms)
Hi Everyone, I am still unable to start Asterisk 1.4 that I installed using ATrpms. I was initially suspecting some permissions issues but it seems to me that its more to do with a speex codec not loading properly. Here is the message I get if I run asterisk -cvvvvvvvvvvvvvv app_userevent.so => (Custom User Event Application) == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/codecs.conf': Found --

pm-utils - ATrpms updates a system package on the stable branch
I performed a clean minimal CentOS 5.2 install, fully updated the system, and then added the ATrpms repository. When I perform an update after adding the ATrpms repository, the package pm-utils is updated the the ATrpms repository. My understanding is there should not have been any updates as the stable version does not update system packages, right? "The CentOS 5/RHEL 5 repository

Is ATRPMs dead?
Haven't been able to reach atrpms.net for over a week from London, UK, when i last looked for it after a couple of intervening months. Did i miss something? And if atrpms is truly defunct, where's a good place to obtain updated versions of vlc and mplayer now? thanks! - cal
