epel-repository | repomd.xml.asc: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404
Hi. I try to install openvpn at my centos 7 server (CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 (Core)). According to many tutorials at the internet, I was using yum install epel-release -y to enable the repo. When (after installing epel-release) I try to install openvpn using yum install openvpn -y I get this error: Geladene Plugins: fastestmirror Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile

yum errors
I have inherited centos 6.3 and 6.2 vms in an esxi environment. When I do yum provides ntpd on the 6.3 box I get a lot of errors like: Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, presto Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile * base: mirror.unl.edu * extras: mirrors.cmich.edu * updates: mirror.steadfast.net http://mirror.unl.edu/centos/6.4/os/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 -

6.4 : How to enable epel and the rpmfusions??
I've installed 6.4 on an old T30 ThinkPad, and I'm in the midst of setting it up. I can't seem to get an rpm of Pan for it, nor even to do yum update. Mousing around fedoraproject eventually got me to http:// rpmfusion.org/Configuration/ and from there to downloads for the free, nonfree, and epel packages (along with a caveat that tells you -- *after* you've gotten rpmfusion

CentOS 6 update issues
Hello all, I manage a few servers overseas that are running CentOS 6. When performing a yum update, it fails because it's trying to download from: mirror.centos.org/centos/*6.6*/extras/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml Which fails due to the fact that the entire 6.6 directory is empty on all of the mirrors I have checked. From what I can tell it should be using:

EPEL not working ... is it just me?
This is very strange - has been happening the last few days. I just upgraded this system from 5.3 to 5.7 on Monday and the problem started some time after that (but not immediately because I know I used yum Monday evening after the upgrade) I get the following error from yum, but it goes away if I --disablerepo=epel The funny thing is that the listed xml file I can easily wget from this

I broke "yum update" - C7
This evening I decided to do some work on my development C7 system. As I have not touched it for a while, and wanted to install new services I thought I'd better yum update first. I saw that it only did updates from Google and PHP, and none from the system repo's so I had a closer look. It showed certificate errors on a number of repo's. Network guru please help: baffled by missing file
The mirrorlist entry in my Fedora-11 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-update.repo reads: mirrorlist=https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=updates-released- f$releasever&arch=$basearch As far as I can see, this means that yum is looking for the file metalink at mirrors.fedoraproject.org ? If I try "sudo yum update" I get: ----------------------------------- [tim at elizabeth ~]$

It has been a month or so at least since the last successful update. It did complain about the REMI repos, which is odd as this all started when my yum update only updated PHP

android sdk on centos7 64-bit.
you are correct sir.. something is screwed up! I remember running into a problem with the base repo enabled and swept it under the rug by disabling it for the moment and then forgot all about disabling it.. So when I enable the base repo, and run yum with debug flag, I see the following: Setting up Package Sacks http://mirror.centos.org/centos/%24releasever/os/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml:
