CentOS6 bind DLV problems
I have two CentOS6 boxes, both running Bind as a local resolver, with what appears to me to be the same configuration as each other. I have a problem on one but not the other, to do with DNSSEC Lookaside Validation. On the box with the problem, if I do: host www.bbc.co.uk 127.0.0.1 (for example), it sits there for a while, then gives me a timeout error. I did some tests while running a tcpdump

Mirroring centos.org
Ok, that sounds a little more elegant. Does that delete switch delete those files after download, or does it stop it from downloading at all? VMware tools 1.0.10 on Centos 6?
I have an instance of VMware server 1.0.10 hosted on CentOS 5, and it runs fine, with guests of CentOS 4, CentOS5 or Win2000. I have just created a new VM and installed CentOS6 on it, which also runs fine, except that I can't build the VMware tools on it. I get compilation errors when compiling the kernel modules, due to changes in the definition of struct net_device among other things. I

C6.5 - combine two DVD isos into one tree?
I have the two DVD isos for CentOS 6.5 mounted as loopback, on the mount points /centos6 and /centos6a, and am trying to use them for PXE/KS installation. The problem I have is that the packages in /centos6a/Packages are not found by the installer. The host is a CentOS 5 system. Is there a way for me to overlay the second DVD on the first without having to copy all the packages from both isos

[OT] fail2ban update (epel) breaks logrotate
Apologies, this is slightly off-topic being to do with an EPEL package, although it's running on CentOS6, so I thought others here might have come across this issue. I have five CentOS 6 systems running fail2ban from EPEL, and this package was updated in the last week from 0.9.2-1.el6 to 0.9.3-1.el6. On all these systems, I received an error from logrotate this morning. It appears that

Digium TE410P LED problem
Has anyone else experienced a problem with the LED for span 1 on a TE410P or TE405P? I had a TE410P on which the span 1 LED would not light red, but once the span was connected, it did correctly light green. I RMAed the board to our UK distrbutor and received a replacement. However, the replacement board displayed the same problem! Wondering if it was related to the computer I was putting it
