Summary: it's a good package, but the wrong package for the location.
I downloaded the package from a different mirror, and the install proceeds
past it. However, now it stops at redhat-logos, with the same error

lost a lvm after update to Centos6.6
Hello All,
the update to Centos6.6 got interrupted on a laptop.
I then did this:
package-cleanup --cleandupes
yum-complete-transaction
and remove and reinstall the latest kernel.
I now get an error message when booting:
/dev/mapper/vg_jvermeulen-lv_home does not exist.
I can boot into single user mode and run all commands.
in fdisk -l .....lv_home is not listed.
How can I re-add this?
I do

CEntos6.6 doesn't install Glusterfs-server?
I believe CentOS Base only ships the glusterfs client.
AFAIK the recommended way to install a full blown gluster solution is to use their own repos at
http://download.gluster.org/pub/gluster/glusterfs/LATEST/CentOS/epel-6/

Upgrade from CentOS6.6 to CentOS 7
Hi All
Is it possible to upgrade from CentOS 6.7 to CentOS 7?
I see there is some attempt at an upgrade tool available, but it's
apparently broken:
https://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/CentOSUpgradeTool
Would anyone be able to recommend a manual upgrade procedure to
upgrade a minimal CentOS 6.7 system to one or other version of CentOS
7?
Many thanks in advance,
Traiano

where $DEST contains the remote machine name and this is being run
from the top of my home directory. My include list is:

a anaconda test problem
I am building a latest CentOS5 and every newest stuff is ready. All are
in directory "/linux/CentOS/5-respin/os/x86_64". My OS is CentOS5 too. I
want to add some other pictures during installation process, so anaconda
adjustment is needed.
When I run command "anaconda --test
--method=http://192.168.0.3/linux/CentOS/5-respin/os/x86_64", a error message followed:
