Boot Failure Lastest CEntos 7 Kernel on X9SBAA-F Board
The latest kernel kernel-3.10.0.229.1.2.el7.x86_64 appears not to like our Supermicro X9SBAA-F board. It fails on boot with the last message before panic being apic_timer_interupt . Previous kernels load very well. We erased and reinstalled the kernel, it verifies good as does everything else using "rpm- qaV". Anyone have any ideas?? Pretty hard to troubleshoot when you just get the last

granulepos start/end revisited
Hi all, I noticed the following Subversion commit today: r6719 | xiphmont | 2004-05-18 16:04:53 +1000 (Tue, 18 May 2004) | 11 lines Updated doc to reflect current proposal... Not as much a proposal at this point actually; this is the way I'm now implementing it. Although we're still in the 'RFC'/'look for horrible lossage' stage, this is close to being

That's what I meant, especially now that Skeleton is a (SHOULD) requirement for video/ogg and audio/ogg. Lots of encoders will need to change. ffmpeg2theora, flac (the application), VLC... video problem since 2015-04-01 update
Hello! No updates for days until 2015-04-01. Then presented with huge steaming pile of updates all at once, apparently related to Centos 7.1 release. Not thinking about it being April Fools Day, I immediately did: yum -v check-update, then yum -v update then rebooted. After reboot, there is a problem with the video. It seems to flicker when the mouse pointer touches the screen edges.

Slow terminal response Centos 7.7 1908
Hey! I have a strange condition in one of the servers that I don't where to start looking. I login to the server via SSH (cant doit any other way) and anything that I type is slow HTTP sessions timeout waiting for screen redraw. So, the server is acting "slow". server is bare metal. no virtual services. no alarms in the disk raid note: server was restarted because of power failure.

Regarding problem with encoding / decoding
Hi, Tank you for your reply. I have tried the sample programs given the manual and done encoding and decoding a wave file. That is working fine. I have already read the manual and API reference. But this problem did not occured with the wave file encoding/decoding. While capturing the data from MIC and encoding/decoding is giving this problem. Thanks and Regards, Vijender Reddy, -----

Discontinuous stream support in libogg1
Hello, I recently added discontinuous stream support to libogg1. The patch is attached. I also wrote Writ codec for libogg1 (based on original code by Arc), and sample Writ encoder (SubRip to Writ converter) and decoder. Is anybody interested? temp fix: Simultaneous reads and writes from specific apps to IPoIB volume seem to conflict and kill performance.
The problem described in the subject appears NOT to be the case. It's not that simultaneous reads and writes dramatically decrease perf, but that the type of /writes/ being done by this app (bedtools) kills performance. If this was a self-writ app or an infrequently used one, I wouldn't bother writing this up, but bedtools is a fairly popular genomics app and since many installations use

Set the foreign key constraint column name?
I am applying Rails to an existing schema and not sure how much the existing developers will let me go in and rename things. So I need to discover the limits of what I can change with Rails. I''ve found set_table_name and set_primary_key, which have been very useful. If I have a "foo has_one :bar" relationship, but then in the bar table my column is named "fooid"
