Then no idea, if there is no extension there permitting this functionality. You could try the Gnome mailing lists, I am sure there's an easy way to do it. If you go to extensions.gnome.org there are various extensions that let you do that. You'll need this package to be able to install them from your browsers: gnome-shell-browser-plugin -- Sent from the Delta quadrant using Borg technology! "Untrusted application launcher (desktop launchers)"
I am having this problem on Ubuntu 18.04 -- I manage a batch of desktop machines with some convience desktop launchers, which gnome3 insists are "untrusted". With some general websearching reveals that this is a *GNome3* so-called "security" issue (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/commit/1630f5348). I found a thread on the CentOS Forums (I don't have an account

Dear all, When I start Adobe Illustrator 9.0 and ImageReady.exe from Photoshop, both application suffer from the same problem. The toolbars seems get stuck with the mouse once you try to move the toolbar windows. I saw people having the same problem as I did. Is this a known problem which can be fix? Thanks. regards, David

CentOS7 changes strike again.
Still in the process of migrating from an old CentOS5 server to a brand new CentOS7. After finally getting Virtualbox-5.0 installed and a new Wondoze10 Pro installed it became time to shift the data from the old server to the new. The old server is headless and I installed the old WindozeXP into the Virtualbox4.x via the command line. To do some of the admin I needed to attach to the windoze

Freenx/x2go on CentOS7?
Can anyone comment on the best remote GUI approach for C7 yet? X2goserver is in epel but when I tried it on the RHEL beta it only worked with a KDE desktop due to the 3d requirement of Gnome3. -- Les Mikesell lesmikesell at gmail.com

Shortcuts not appearing in gnome panel drawers
I'm trying to trace why launchers created by wine due to a program installation are not appearing in the menus on my system. The launchers appear to have the correct contents, but for some reason gnome-panel is not adding them to my menus. Does anyone know how to run the relavent gnome tools with options to see what's happening when gnome reads these launchers. Keep in mind that there

How to setup own i686 buildenv for CentOS7
Hi, all! How to setup own i686 mock for CentOS7? Or, is there any public i686 repo for CentOS7? I found i686 repo available in internal CentOS building environment, from a root.log from a mock build result[1]. CentOS7/Mate Qt bugs/features?
We have recently migrated from CentOS6/Gnome to CentOS7/Mate - and have noticed 'glitches' with some Qt applications that appears to be linked to the 'org.mate.Marco.general' 'compositing-manager' setting - and wondered how we 'fix' the issue ... Below is a PyQT4 python script that shows the issues: 1. With 'compositing-manager' set to 'true' (I
