Ransomware?
I'm not aware of the last, but in previous versions, ransomware encrypt all
files and after this he delete original files. If you have a trash/recycle
configured, you can recover these files.

Well iscsi makes safe backup target. The way to protect yourself is to have
backup of samba shares to iscsi.

how to manipulate dput output format
I am reading into Java dput output for a matrix, more specifically for a
file backed big-matrix. I basically need to lift dimnames for a matrix from
dput output. It's no big deal, but the code is very 'hackish' due to the
need to get rid of quotes, endlines, parenthesis, etc. I was wondering if i
could manipulate to an extent dput output with some options that define it,
for example,

Using column length in plot gives error
Hi
I'm trying to write a generic script for processing some data which finishes
off with some plots. Given Im never sure how many columns will be in my
dataframe I wanted to using the following
plot(spectra.wavelength, cormat, type = "l", ylim=c(-1,1), xlab="Wavelength
(nm)", ylab="Correlation")
however even if I specify as type="l" it appears plot

how do you come to that conclusion and even if some malware acts that
way what makes you sure you can rely on that? IMHO it would only be so
when the developer of the ransomware is a fool!
why should he

what has this to do with samba and who has iSCSI (SAN) on the normal
network instead a seperated storage network or in case of a small VMware
cluster with 2 hosts even not just 2 network cables from each to the
SAN-storage with no switch at all?

wanna cry ransomware patch for samba-4.5.5
Hai,
Not really a question for samba technical, but i can share this.
No need for setting things on samba, that wont help a lot.
Below is my setup and its just how you configure your pc's.
This and almost all other "malware" is EASY to block, but it wil have impact on how your work.
First, start with NEVER work/run as user with administrator rights.
If one needs it, then not

Ransomware?
I had to deal with ransomware at the end of April. One of the PCs on my
customer's network was infected by opening a realistic looking email
apparently from a genuine supplier to the company and personally addressed.
The infection occurred on Wednesday, but encryption of the server only took
place late on Friday afternoon, presumably having obtained encryption keys
from the criminals. The
