LAN hosts not reachable
Me and my son are running Tinc over 5 nodes, 3 of them got public address and we using them as server. Each node has its own Lan subnet 192.168.0.0/24. Originally we ran network on Openwrt routers with Tinc many years without any problem, but due to limited RAM on routes and change of one router to not Openwrt supported model, we decided to transfer Tinc installation on Raspberry Pi-s in LAN. default gw route has gone?
Weird behaviour. A couple of days ago I installed another DSL router. During the process I have somehow caused the default gw route to disappear - on system start up the interface comes up fine, I can see and connect to the local subnet but not to the internet. Routing problem
Hi, I'm building a firewall/router on Centos. I'm using Shorewall but have currently stopped and cleared the firewall rules to isolate the routing problem. My firewall box has 5 interfaces in it but currently only two are involved in the problem. eth1: inet addr:192.168.1.224 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 eth3: inet addr:192.168.202.1 Bcast:192.168.202.255

WAN setup over frame relay 7 locations
Hi - I have shorewall-1.3.8-1 on a RH 7.3 machine that acts as a firewall for my network. It was running the other day just fine, but today I have problems getting to the firewall. It is a frame-relay network with Cisco routers. Everything is 192.168.x.x / 24. I can''t ping the firewall from the WAN, but can from the main LAN. Sounds like a routing issue to me, but it was working for

TEQL and Subnet problem
TEQL and Subnet problem I have a network topology shown below, and I am trying to use TEQL. My problem is: When I ping to P3.teql0 from P2 ("[P2]# ping 16.119.144.66"), the traffic can never go from P2.eth1, and all traffic only goes to P1.eth0. What P2.eth1 (16.119.144.33) did is broadcasting an ARP asking for the MAC address of 16.119.144.66, although I have specified the route to

urgent TEQL problem
OK, I spammed the mailing list recently, but I will be fired if I can''t solve the problem today. (just kidding, but I did waste lots of time on it :( ) The common configuration for teql is for two computers connected directly with two links. My topology is a little different: one link is connected directly, but the other is connected through a gateway. My problem is teql can''t

OT: Linux routing with T100P problems
Hey gang, I was successful in recompiling my 2.4.20 kernel to support HDLC. I was successful in hooking up our T1 line into the zap card. I was successful in being able to ping equipment on the other end of the T1. I was unsuccessful in pinging the outside world from the other end of the T1. I've attached a cheezy image of the network. Here is the routing table: [root@asterisk root]# route

Guest-networking: Two subnets = Guests cannot connect to the other subnet
Hello list, We have KVM setup using libvirt (0.9.0) as configuration device on a Debian Squeeze Host. Networking is done in routed bridge mode and we have two different subnets, as well as one main ip. Subnets get routed to the main ip (this is done by our provider). Network on hosts are done like this: <network> <name>subnet_1</name>
