Hello I am having a weird issue with a PCI-X Intel dual gigabit ethernet nic. While I am partially successful in pass thru with kvm, I have a weird issue with my pfsense freebsd vm. It see the two nics but gives them the same Mac address. I'm not sure if this is a pfsense bug or what. The nic works for everything but this Mac address issue. Hi, I'm just considering buying two Telecoms grade Sun Netra's to run a lab-based VoIP solution. Not my immediate thoughts as a VoIP platform, but from what I've heard, they can run Linux, and run it well. Only thing is: The Wiki and the Whitepaper just state that Asterisk is for the x86 architecture, but has been compiled to run on PPC architectures. No mention of UltraSparc.

Sc847 36 drive config. Wd RE3 1tb drives. Areca and lsi hba. 3 or so drives would completely hang under any kind of decent load. Replaced with lsi 1068 and chenbro sas espanders and replaced the supermicro backplane with the -A version (direct port) and its been riPping along for well over a year.
