During startup there is a message about a missing python-dbus. Querying rpm and yum tells me that nothing provides python-dbus and no such package exists. What do I need? Anne

where is libid3-3.8.so.3
I searched for libid3-3.8.so.3 with yum: # yum search \*libid3-3.8\* but it returns "No Matches found" Am I not searching correctly, or does this not exist in CentOS 5.7? tnx

problems with winCVS

yum update --skip-broken failure
Though I've used it countless times in the past, "yum update --skip-broken" doesn't work anymore... it doesn't skip over updates which have dependency problems. Is this a known issue? Is there a work-around for it? Has anyone else experienced this? tnx.

dbus packages' versions not making sense
I have installed 1.12.8-10.el8_2, but when trying to install dbus-devel it is not available for that version, only 1.12.8-9.el8, which is also not available. Suggestions? # yum list | grep dbus dbus.x86_64 1:1.12.8-10.el8_2 @BaseOS dbus-common.noarch 1:1.12.8-10.el8_2

virt-manager can't start because of a dbus problem
