HowTos/ManualInstall documentation update
Hello, This is my first post on this list so please don't be too harsh. After following a bunch of different guides and looking for documentation all around I've managed to install centos on my server from a chroot (from a debian-based host system). I would like to update the https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/ManualInstall wiki page with this new information as the information on there is

Draft review request (php7 on CentOS) [Was: Documentation proposal]
Akemi, Thank for info, seems many developer are using ?centos-release-scl? these days, that makes life easier, however, it is little to governance the ?software source collection? if they are right or wrong. Anyway it is nice to know and thank you again! Xlord From: CentOS-docs [mailto:centos-docs-bounces at centos.org] On Behalf Of Akemi Yagi Sent: Friday, October 27, 2017 9:34 PM To:

CentOS 7 Manual Install
I am following the instructions from the CentOS website to manually install CentOS 7 (http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/ManualInstall) but the guide seems to have some quality issues. I've partitioned the storage fine and now onto setting up RPM. Unfortunately I am at a loss on how to do this. I am doing this on VMware Workstation 10 and the host OS is Ubuntu 14.04. Thanks Parvez

"A primary domain controller is already running in this domain. "
When we rebooted our NT PDC (I was on vacation) they had the following error message: "A primary domain controller is already running in this domain." I do not want any Samba boxes to act as PDC to the domain, but use either the true NT PDC or the NT BDC for authentication. If either box cannot be located, than just act as another NT workstation. I have included the global section of

Hi all, Sorry for bothering you in this dev mailing list, I'm using libguestfs to customize some vm using as bases the ubuntu cloud images. But I noticed that it takes a lot and then fails when trying to install a packet. Same behaviour on Ubuntu 18.04 and Centos 7.5 Ubuntu: virt-customize 1.36.13 libvirtd (libvirt) 4.0.0 Centos: virt-customize 1.36.10rhel=7,release=6.el7_5.2,libvirt

Anaconda it self works with groups like @base etc... Very wired. Doesn't looks

[PATCH] daemon: use str_udevadm in udev_settle
There is GUESTFSD_EXT_CMD defining a string for udevadm (so it is marked as "used tool" in the appliance), but it is not actually used when starting udevadm. Hey, When downloading a file whose path contains multi-byte utf-8, libguestfs sometimes crashes. This reproduces when using python, and not when using guestfish.
