the layout on wiki-m.centos.org looks pretty convincing to me, now.
Two things:

isn't readable at all.

Merging Documentation and Help pages
Hi,
Going over the wiki some more I noticed that the GettingHelp and
Documentation page contain the same type of information and could be
merged (and reduced) as well.
On the FrontPage it is called "Learn" (which I like) and
points to the Documentation page. On top it says "Help" and points to the
GettingHelp page.
I would prefer to keep the Documentation page (or rename

A reference to the japanese mailing list was added sometime ago to this page:

Now, the new frontpage takes you (after a couple of clicks) to:
http://wiki.centos.org/GettingHelp/ListInfo
which does not contain the info about the .jp site. Could this be
added there as well?

Hi all,
Akemi and I have recently been drafting a few posts for a new forum
subsection (Readme First & FAQs) to aid new forums members in getting help.
One thing we have noticed is that there are two FAQ repositories, one on
the main site and one on the Wiki.

Yes, Ralph. I also found out that I had been vague.
What I have in mind is a 'Newcomer's Checklist' for
'New Users' or 'Newbie Installers' of one/both of the
current/supported distributions 5.x and 6.x.
And it should -in my thinking- begin just by making sure
the 'Newcomer' is able to detect which distros are current,
and the type they need.

best to integrate dynamic navbar into layout
I''ve been trying to come up with a good way to integrate a dynamic
navbar into my layout. By dynamic, I meas that each link has 3 images.
Normal, rollover, and dark for the current page. I have it working but
it seems like there should be a better way. Here is how I did it,

Hello guyz!
I'm new here, and this is my very first truble...
I need a script that will backup & compress the folder /media/system in
the folder /media/backups
But that's not the problem, I need that only the last 7 backups (last 7
days, yeah I know, cronjob...) will stay in that folder...

How can I link/anchor down the page with #anchor in urls?
I''m trying to expand on a blog tutorial and one thing I can''t figure out
is how to use anchors within pages.
For example say I have sections on a page with anchors like <a

Navbar for documentation is broken in Doxygen 1.8.18

Here is a patch to update documentation to Doxygen 1.8.18 as the navbar is broken trying to use the latest Doxygen.

the Dovecot.tzr.gz file from Dovecot v2.3.7.2 in
