Q: how can I request to add an upstream patch to resolve a core dump issue?
UPDATE: It turned out QEMU still dumped core with that patch applied. That said, I'm still interested to know how to report issues with QEMU from centos-virt repo. FreeBSD, Libmd5, samba 4.9.4 & "smbclient -L" (using password) -> core dump
I just noticed that smbclient from Samba 4.9.4 /built by myself) on FreeBSD 11.2 coredumps when called like this: smbclient -L <hostname> > % /liu/pkg/samba/4.9.4-liu/bin/smbclient -L filur00 > Enter username at AD.LIU.SE's password: > Abort (core dumped) … if it is linked against /usr/local/lib/libmd5.so (which is part of “libwww”). If I remove libmd5.so and recompile

Samba 4.7.1 Generating Core Dumps
Hi, We are having issues with our samba server running on CentOS 7. It's generating core dumps and dumping them in the / (root filesystem) directory in the form of core.##### where the # is a series of numbers. Snippets of log files and some troubleshooting commands are below. Hope someone can have a look and see if I should file this as a bug, as there were similar posts in the samba

Xen dom0 (core) merged to upstream Linux 2.6.37 and other new features
Hello, People here might be interested to know that Xen pvops dom0 core was merged to upstream Linux kernel during the 2.6.37 merge window! This has been in the works for a long time, so it's good news. Note that this is the core/initial merge, there's more upstreaming needed to get for example the Xen dom0 backend drivers merged to be able to run other domains using the upstream

[RESOLVED] Marshal.dump not dumping entire object?
After sending this I realized that this was a Ruby not Rails issue - but the answer may be interesting for those who choose Marshal over Serialize. So, to close this off I don''t know why marshal.dump wasn''t ''dumping'' all attributes, but adding custom marshaling to PDate did the trick. ala, + def marshal_dump + dumped_obj = [date_precision, ajd,

答复: How to draw x-axis time label.
Thank you for helping me! I try the "pretty" funtion to select the x-axis position value.Then I use the "format" funtion. xax.pos <- pretty(as.numeric(x$x.name)) format(xax.pos,'%d %b %y') > xax.pos [1] 1091600000 1091800000 1092000000 1092200000 1092400000 1092600000 1092800000 [8] 1093000000 There are something wrong. text editor for R
Hi, What is the best text editor for programming in R? I am using JEdit as the text editor, however, it does not have anything specific for R. It will be nice to have a developing environment where the keywords are highlighted, plus some other debugging functions. Yi-Xiong [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Thank you ! I run your code. It have a graph with time(date) on x-axis. Thank you very much! Well, Would you like to do me a favor again? Most of times, the x-axis time data is lasted about 3 months. They are too much. I must select some of them marking in x-axis,and they are must reasonable and human-readable. Now I have tried the "pretty " function, But as soon as I run it, the

memory limit problem
Could anyone advise me how to allocate 1.5Gbyte memory for R on a Dell laptop running XP professional with 2G memory? I have tried "C:\Program Files\R\rw1081\bin\Rgui.exe" --max-vsize=1400M but I only get only 500MB for R actually. I also tried memory.limit(2^30) in R and got error of: Error in memory.size(size) : cannot decrease memory limit Yi-Xiong
