On October 19th, 2018, we will once again be hosting a CentOS Dojo at CERN, in Meyrin, Switzerland[1]. This will be a full day of CentOS presentations, drawn both from CERN and from the broader CentOS community. The call for papers is now open[2]. We're looking for talks about anything CentOS related, but we're particularly interested in: * OpenStack, and other cloud platforms * Ceph,

The videos from the recent #CentOSDojo at #CERN are now available on the CentOS YouTube channel. If you have time for only one, be sure to watch the first video, which talks about the challenges that CERN has with the enormous amount of data they produce every day in the LHC. Also recommended, Fabian's discussion of the coming (and already in place!) changes to the CentOS Git infrastructure.

The final schedule for the CentOS Dojo at FOSDEM is now live at https://wiki.centos.org/Newsletter and registration is open. We've got a whole day of content for you, covering technical topics, information about RHEL 8 (and what's coming in CentOS), and updates from our Special Interest Groups (SIGs). Registration is free, but we do need you to register, so that we can adequately plan.

Bumping this thread in the hopes that we can get an official opinion from someone on the board. In particular, the guidelines at https://wiki.centos.org/ArtWork/Brand/Logo seem to indicate that we're not supposed to use the logo without the wordmark, but we do that all the time, even on official swag. What's the official ruling, and who can we go to for further clarification? --Rich
