NIC2. following is snippet for guest1
I am not able to get 192.168.0.2 address back on guest eth0.

Disable/stop nic in a virtual guest with virsh
Hi all,
How can I stop/disable a nic in a virtual guest using a virsh
command?? I am searching the same effect like if I unplug network
cable ... Is it possible?? I have tried with "detach-interface"
command without luck. I don't want to remove the nic from guest
configuration, only to stop the nic ...
Thanks.
P.D: Host is CentOS 6.6 x86_64 fully patched.

Network isolation for KVM guests (SOLVED)
This can be if one of these interfaces isn't a wireless nic. But I need to use a wireless nic and another phys nic.
At least, I have solved the problem using network namespaces. All works ok and expected now.
Many thanks to all for your help

Backing Up A Xen Guest
Here's the problem. We perform full tar backups of our CentOS 4/5
machines in real-time at regular intervals. And when a disaster happens,
we are able to restore those backups onto virgin filesystems, make
the /dev/null, /dev/zero and /dev/console devices .. and boot the
machine.
This has worked well on standalone systems, and also on Xen 3.0.3 guests
on CentOS 4.4 machines, where each guest

Discover what vnet is attached to a kvm guest
Hi all,
How can I see what vnet is attached to a certain kvm guest?? For
example: I have a kvmguest1. When I launch this guest with virsh
command, virsh creates a new vnetX interface for this guest. How can I
extract this virtual net interface (vnet0, vnet1, vnet2 or so on) using
a script??
Thanks.

Resize guest filesystem question

my knowledge. I spent the afternoon yesterday googling for answers, but had

to use the additional disk space that I added to the logical volume that the

possible, and again, this is the case...
Just after I thought I had my RH5 samba/nis server working fine, I come across
the inability to update nis passwords.

Hi Xen-users,
I am trying to boot of my fist guest domain. The below attached message was
thrown on the screen.
I am not quite sure that the below information is sufficient to root cause
the issue.
Where do i look for additional logs to root cause the issue.
Appreciate any info that you think might be useful.
Thanks,

roaming profiles odd.
using samba 3.14a, windows xp sp2 configured with roaming profiles.
the profile seems to download properly but the start menu seems to be
empty of shortcuts.
anything tht requires reading of files seems to be acting strangely
the files exist on the server but somehow they are not read on the
workstation
all of the /profiles/username directories are configured exactly the same.

Hi there,
I am using libvirt with lxc to create fedora 16 & 18 containers on fedora
