Cisco 7941G-GE with Asterisk and CTPSEP odyssee
I have just got a Cisco 7941G and am experiencing the exact same
problem (phone is requesting .tlv file from TFTP server and never asks
for .cnf.xml file). The phone originally had SCCP on it, but I
downloaded and flashed with the latest Cisco SIP image (8.4(3)
released 2009-01-13). In reading your message below, it looks like you

Hi,
Can someone please point me to where I can find this early version of the IEEE802.1Qbg implementation? When I downloaded the 0.9.38 version of lldpad, it does not have the latest set of code mentioned below.
Thanks.
Arpit.

Cisco SSCP to SIP
Hi all,
I'm trying to convers some Cisco SSCP phones to the SIP formware. The phone boots, I see it tries to fetch a bunch of files on my TFTP:

unexpected UPS status
This is part UPS and part nut question.
I had a (intentional) power outage. The UPS/nut properly shut the system down when battery was down to 20%.
It ran for only 18 minutes rather than the expected 40 (see later).
After it charged to 37% I removed power from the UPS. After 4-5 minutes the system shut down.
However, when I restored power to the UPS the machine powered up immediately (no delay).

USB UPS problem
Maybe a kernel USB issue, but people on this list may have encountered this issue.
I am testing a new UPS (EATON 5E 1500iUSB) and am having a problem with the USB connection failing.
My old UPS (EATON Ellipse MAX 1500) works just fine with the latest f30. Both devices identify as
ID 0463:ffff MGE UPS Systems UPS
To narrow the focus I booted recent live CDs on a PC that has no other USB devices

7970 CTLFile.tlv?
I've got a Cisco 7970 that's not completing its network registration to
Asterisk. The "Registering" message stays on the screen (with the moving
time wheel). After a few minutes, the onscreen message flashes "Updating
CTL" then "Loading...", then the status messages update with:
No valid CAPF server
File Not Found: CTLFile.tlv
No CTL installed

The estimates are typically less accurate when the load is light (output is showing 5%). Also, as Eyal mentioned, five years is getting old for a lead-acid battery.

[PATCH] Fits: tool to parse stream
Simple tool to parse a fits-stream from stdout.

The idea of the btrfs send stream format was to generate it in a way that
it is easy to receive on different platforms. Thus the proposed name FITS, for
Filesystem Incremental Backup Stream. We should also build the tools to
receive the stream on different platforms.
