Currently, both the official RHEL 7.3 GA AMI and the latest available
official CentOS-7 x86_64 AMI use legacy interface names via either:

any type of line code can be used with any type of framing.
- Line coding - AMI, B8ZS (there are others but I have forgotten them)
- Framing -

Re: CentOS-virt Digest, Vol 6, Issue 11
I apologize, but it appears that I was missing one digest in my email
box(issue 9). Hence I though my submission never went through to the
list, thus resent my email to the list. I'll go to the list archive
and check out the missing replies.

Make sure that the interface that you are bridging to is not a wireless interface otherwise it won't work. Very deep in the documentation about setting up KVM there is a warning about that it's something about how they initiate connections on a wireless interface is different than on a wired one and it breaks things in KVM bridging.
