Video resolution for CentOS guest
Would someone please point me to some reasonably current instructions for getting greater than 1024x768 video resolution for a CentOS 6 guest on a CentOS 6 KVM/qemu host? When I search online I find stuff from 2009 and 2010 saying, "For details see ...," and linking to a URL that no longer exists, or pages that say, "You need to switch from VNC to Spice," and giving a long

Mouse crazy on Full screen app + Tablet PC
Hi, I don't really expect this to get fixed but I have an issue and I was hoping someone would be able to at least diagnose it. I have a X41T Thinkpad. It is a tablet pc and when I have a full screen app (i.e. game) open the digitizer pen goes nuts. The cursor tries to go off the screen. Holding it perfectly still will cause the mouse to glide slowly across the screen while moving it

Conflict between mouse and tablet
I've been working hard to get my Wacom tablet to work as my primary pointing device. I've installed the drivers and followed the instructions at the Linux Wacom project at Sourceforge. And I've been largely successful. The drivers are working, the configuration utilities are working. I'm just one step away from success. Apparently the problem is that my mouse and my USB tablet

mouse "stuck"
Sommetimes, for no apparent reason, my mouse cursor will become four arrows and suddenly I cannot do anything with my desktop. I can move the cursor and that is it. Clicking has no effect. cnrtl-alt-F6 gave me another virtual console from which I could post this. Other rebooting, how do I fix this? I'm running xfce on 6.2. -- Michael hennebry at web.cs.ndsu.NoDak.edu "On Monday,

Display configuration for greeter??
With dual monitors, how do I control which monitor will get the greeter display. I would really like to configure the screens as mirrored. Trying to log in when the monitor with the greeter is not visible is very trying. -- Bob Nichols "NOSPAM" is really part of my email address. Do NOT delete it.
