yum update
Now I' missing some packages, after some re?nstalling, I can boot again.
However, I can not log in.

Problem with Install R on Linux Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus
Hello,
Side question... would this have anything to do with 16.04 being new and
(potentially) "less stable" than 14.04? Or put another way, would this
issue come up under 14.04?
Thank you,

Error starting Virtual Machine Manager: Failed to contact configuration server...
Hi all!
Do you have any idea about the following error message from virt-manager. I was trying to start it with "sudo virt-manager". Do you think I can fix this by simply restarting libvirtd?
Regards,
Allen

These are the messages that I get when trying to attach a virtio disk

Centos 7.5..and My GDM Greeter/GDM Don't Work Anymore
So, we've updated to 7.5, and for two machines--A Dell Precision M4800,
and a Dell Precision 7510..both running Radeon cards--we no longer get
the GDM Greeter login box NOR can we switch to virtual text login
terminals. It's been driving me nuts. The systems do allow for SSH
logins, so that's how we get to them, but I've checked the Xorg.0.log
and nothing stands out. Did a

How could the admin do to grant me with permission to run virsh as unprivileged user?
Thank you! How could the admin do to grant me with permission to run virsh as unprivileged user? Also by configurating libvirtd.conf, unix_sock_group?

CentOS6 virt-manager fails
I've been playing around with virt-manager. Set up a single vm and enabled
autostart, then rebooted the host to test it. It does work, but I can no
longer use virt-manager. virt-viewer works, though.

CentOS5 pam_mkhomedir
I have a problem creating homedirs on the fly. Since RHEL5 / CentOS5 you have to
use pam_oddjob_mkhomedir instead of pam_mkhomedir.
Everything is working (the homedir is created) but two things.
First on every logon I get the following error message, and I don't know how to
fix it:
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name com.redhat.oddjob was not
provided by any .service files
