Hi libvirt 5.2.0 should support maxGrantFrames setting for xen (changelog). extremely low performance on Samba 4.2.14-Debian
Hi everyone, here's my problem: I have a fast server (dual Xeon E5-2620, 64 GB RAM) with a fast RAID array (24 disks, RAID-6, more than 2GB/s read/write local performance, XFS filesystem) and fast network : dual 10GigE (myri10g) and 40GigE (i40e). It's running Debian 8.11, tried various kernel versions (currently 4.4.x, but 4.9 isn't any better). It's slow as dead snails in

dom0 hangs when rebooting debian lenny domU
Dear all, I have a reproducible issue with centos54 dom0 and debian lenny domU using pygrub. As far as I enter "shutdown -r now" in the running Debian Lenny DomU the whole system hangs. Keyboard is dead, network is dead and no more logging. Ending up in a hardware reset of the box. I was able to reproduce this 3 times. Restarting with xm reboot debian50 works without problems. Is there

CentOS 6.x, kernel-2.6.32-220.7.1, EC2 and drive enumeration
Hi all, Is anyone successfully running/has succesfully upgraded to 2.6.32-220 from, say, 2.6.32-71.29.1? (i.e. done a normal run-of-the-mill yum update on, say a 6.0 instance all the way up cleanly to 6.2? Reason I ask is that booting into -220 (and I think also into -131 as well) results in a kernel panic for me. Some digging around and the new kernel seems to be enumerating the drives with the

[LLVMdev] Non-portable use time command in RunSafely.sh
If you look at http://npt.cc.rsu.ru/testresults-X86-FreeBSD/index.html then you see that all program test have '*' in run time columns. I think problem in using plain 'time' command in RunSafely.sh At FreeBSD 'time <program> <args>' call generate output in format " 0,00 real 0,00 user 0,00 sys" for *.time files instead expected

btrfs-convert processing time
Hi, I''m trying to convert two ext4 FS to btrfs, but I''m surprised by the time needed to do that conversion. Problem with regional settings
I'm running a Windows program with Wine under Linux (Red Hat), but I'm having problems with the thousand and decimal separators. The Linux OS is set to en_US. When I tab through an inputfield with a decimal value e.g. 1,00 it'll change to 100,00. This is really tricky, because values are changed to complete different values. I've been trying to change the regional settings by

GNOME, numeric keypad & commas
Hi, Our local school has a 100 % CentOS network on servers and desktops. Until recently, we were using a highly customized Xfce desktop environment. Last week I decided to migrate all desktops from Xfce to GNOME, which went quite well. Now I have to sand down some rough edges. The secretary complained that she can't use the numeric keypad as before. She's using LibreOffice Calc a lot,

LVM Checksum error when using persistent grants (#linux-next + stable/for-jens-3.8)
Hey Roger, I am seeing this weird behavior when using #linux-next + stable/for-jens-3.8 tree. Basically I can do ''pvscan'' on xvd* disk and quite often I get checksum errors: # pvscan /dev/xvdf PV /dev/xvdf2 VG VolGroup00 lvm2 [18.88 GiB / 0 free] PV /dev/dm-14 VG vg_x86_64-pvhvm lvm2 [4.00 GiB / 68.00 MiB free] PV /dev/dm-12 VG vg_i386-pvhvm lvm2
