[LLVMdev] [LLVMDev] trouble building gcc-frontend from source
Hi all, I am a new user of LLVM, and wanted to explore it in conjunction with the compilers course I am taking in my university. To this end, I downloaded the code for the LLVM suite and the LLVM-gcc front end from the respective repositories. Then, I built the LLVM suite without any hitch, but when I tried to build the llvm-gcc frontend (exactly following the instructions of README.LLVM) , I got

Disable all checksum verification in flac/metaflac
Hi, Is it possible for you to compile flac/metaflac yourself? Then you'll only need to remove a few lines, namely these 4: https://github.com/xiph/flac/blob/28e4f0528c76b296c561e922ba67d43751990599/src/libFLAC/stream_decoder.c#L2118-L2121 and these 7: https://github.com/xiph/flac/blob/28e4f0528c76b296c561e922ba67d43751990599/src/libFLAC/stream_decoder.c#L2141-L2147 As you can see these lines

[LLVMdev] OpenMP Support for LLVM and clang
Hello, I am a masters student interested in parallelization API's and auto parallelization. I have been following LLVM's development for some time now and would like to make a contribution. In particular I am interested in adding OpenMP support for LLVM. I believe this will be useful both for clang as well as LLVM Polly. I would like to know if anyone is already working on this. Any

Question about identifier name mangling in LLVM manual
The Identifiers section in the LLVM language manual states: "The "\01" prefix can be used on global variables to suppress mangling." Is this for global variables only, or global values in general, such as functions also? In implementation LLVM seems to have this behavior of suppressing mangling even for functions and aliases. Thanks, Gautam
