[CentOS-devel] docker and docker-latest packages on CentOS Virt SIG
Moving this discussion to centos-virt@ as it's upto the SIG to decide on how this moves ahead. I'm hoping to have 2 new koji tag sets: virt7-docker-fedora-* (will have fedora rpms rebuilt) virt7-docker-el-* (will have rhel candidate builds before they are released or land in centos extras) The -el-* repos will help to have Virt SIG as sort of an upstream and early QA for both RHEL and

etcd and kubernetes on virt7-testing
I've rebuilt the latest kubernetes and etcd sources (from fedora rawhide) for c7. Builds are available on CBS and in the virt7-testing repo. kubernetes: https://cbs.centos.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=7113 etcd: http://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=689 Please try them out and let me know if you see any issues. Docker 1.10.2 has just been built for virt7-docker-common-candidate https://cbs.centos.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=78901 Please give it a shot and lemme know if I can proceed with releasing it. golang 1.4.2 in virt7-testing
golang-1.4.2 is now available in the virt7-testing repo. More build info here: https://cbs.centos.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=8901 docker seems to work fine with golang 1.4 on fedora rawhide and I heard the latest etcd needs at least 1.4. So hopefully, the latest build ^ takes care of this. -- Lokesh Freenode, OFTC: lsm5 GPG: 0xC7C3A0DD -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment

docs update suggestions for docker and related packages
What's the best place to update the docs/howto for docker and related packages on centos? Could I add to http://wiki.centos.org/Cloud/Docker?highlight=(docker) or is this for the rhel-recompiled docker? Also, what about docker-registry? Does that need a new page? -- Lokesh Freenode, OFTC: lsm5 GPG: 0xC7C3A0DD -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Name:

"docker-master" package: daily builds of docker master branch
Daily builds of docker master branch are available in the virt SIG repository as package 'docker-master': http://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=690 Should mostly work fine though use it AT YOUR OWN RISK. If you'd prefer to use something stable, you could choose between the RHEL-recompiled 'docker' package available in centos-extras and the 'docker' package

hoping to reschedule SIG meetings to Tuesdays 1500 UTC
I can't make it to the current schedule for alternate Tuesday 1400 UTC meetings. I was hoping we could reschedule it to 1500 UTC on the same Tuesdays instead, or any other slot which could work for all. Welcoming a new SIG member :)
Virt SIG folks, please join me in welcoming our latest SIG member, Marianne Lombard (username: jehane).
