Do the build failure related to my commit?
I made a commit just now, and received many build failures. It seems they all began to fail after my commit. http://lab.llvm.org:8011/#/builders/112 http://lab.llvm.org:8011/#/builders/121 http://lab.llvm.org:8011/#/builders/33 I can't understand why. It seems my commit is only a small change. Ben Shi -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

[cfe-dev] Many bots don't build anything -- does anyone know why?
Hi, It seems the problem is that the bot is updating llvm.src, but trying to build from llvm. Galina, it looks like this is related to your recent changes to zorg, you probably missed a spot somewhere and I can't find it on a first glance. Could you have a look? Non-determinism in libFuzzer tests on AArch64
Hi, I've seen this issue pop up on the mailing list a couple of times before with no resolution [1][2][3]. It has been getting really bad for our AArch64 buildbots lately. You can see a few examples at the end of my email [4], but we have the same failures on a couple of other bots as well. Does anyone have any idea how to reproduce / investigate these issues? If not, is it reasonable to

Flakey failure on clang-ppc64le-linux-multistage
Sure. I didn't use lit or ninja. I simply copied the script produced by lit (/home/buildbots/ppc64le-clang-multistage-test/clang-ppc64le-multistage/stage1/tools/clang/test/Driver/Output/target-override.c.script) into a temporary directory (along with a deep copy of the build directory). I modified the paths in the script to point to the temporary directory. Then I ran the script in a loop. For

Marking lit::shtest-format.py unsupported on PS4?, Re: buildbot failure in LLVM on llvm-clang-lld-x86_64-scei-ps4-ubuntu-fast
Should "lit :: shtest-format.py" (from check-lit) be marked unsupported on PS4? It seems flakey there. This evening, it failed on my commit, r337514, and I'm fairly confident it wasn't my commit's fault. Then it recovered on the next commit. http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/llvm-clang-lld-x86_64-scei-ps4-ubuntu-fast/builds/33502

Flakey failure on clang-ppc64le-linux-multistage
This is likely due to a race condition (%T is a shared parent directory). I'll put up a patch to fix it. Flakey failure on clang-ppc64le-linux-multistage
Well, I am at my wit's end. I have copied over the script and directories for this test case and run it a few million times. First I was running one at a time, then I switched to kicking off 1000 at a time. All the while, the bots continued to run on the same machine. The script never failed even once. I am not sure if this has something to do with Python as part of llvm-lit or what is going

Flakey failure on clang-ppc64le-linux-multistage
Should be fixed by https://reviews.llvm.org/D87103 Shall we consider deprecating(emitting a warning)/removing %T from lit? lldb, lld/COFF and clang-tools-extra are the three major users of %T. There are a few other %T in other places but there are not too many. We will also investigate whether other projects using lit are using %T. On Thu, Sep 3, 2020 at 11:25 AM David Blaikie <dblaikie at

[cfe-dev] Upcoming upgrade of LLVM buildbot
Our Flang-aarch64 buildbots just won't connect to the main Buildbot master anymore. I switched them to the staging buildbot master instead and it seems fine for now. Is there anything that we can/should tweak at our end? http://lab.llvm.org:8014/#/waterfall?tags=flang -Andrzej On 08/10/2020 00:31, Galina Kistanova via cfe-dev wrote: > They are online now -

[LLVMdev] Code Ownership - Buildbot
Here is a trivial reason why I have not propagated http://bb.pgr.jp/ . Sometimes (but I suppose rarely) he reports false alarm in a few points. He'd send blames to the llvm-testresults if his master (aka I) knew he were mature. I don't also want him promoted and called as one of official buildbots. He is my pet, though, I expect he should be helpful to the developers. ...Takumi
