ORC JIT Weekly #18 -- TargetProcessControl updates for library loading / searching.
Hi All,
This was a quiet week -- the only significant ORC change was to the new
TargetProcessControl API [1], which acquired the ability to load libraries
and search for symbols in the target process in [2]. A new
TargetProcessControl based definition generator is included to take
advantage of this, and the LLJITWithTargetProcessControl example has been
updated to include it.
Regards,
Lang.

ORC JIT Weekly #26 -- Orc library break-up, remote TargetProcessControl, and the beginnings of a runtime.
Hi All,
I'm back again after a couple of weeks hiatus, and I have some good news
for anyone interested in cross-process JITing with OrcV2: The remote
TargetProcessControl and Orc library breakup patch has landed
in 1d0676b54c4 [1]. Thanks very much to Dave Blaikie and Stefan Graenitz
for all their feedback on the review!
As described in my last email, this commit breaks the OrcJIT library

ORC JIT Weekly #21 -- OrcV1 removal, Removable code, and Remote TargetProcessControl
Hi All,
Everything is landing all at once, just not in the mainline... yet.
As discussed in
http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2020-September/144885.html: OrcV1
will be removed very soon. I have posted a branch with the removal,
"orcv1-removal", in my llvm fork at https://github.com/lhames/llvm-project.
In addition to removing OrcV1, the orcv1-removal branch also contains a

[LLVMdev] LLVM Bay-area Mini-Social, November / DevMtg edition!

It's DevMtg month, and while we will all be gather for tons of fun
stuff next week, a few of us are going to do an even more informal
than usual social this week.
Why? So we can complain at each other about preparing a talk, lay
plans for fun hacking at the hacking session, or just because they
serve tasty beverages, and hey,

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] !!! 3.2 Release RC2 deadline November 29th
We have 10 dragonegg builders in the buildbot.
8 of them bootstrap (all are green) but they build dragonegg with
dragonegg. 2 run test-suit.
Building clang with the dragonegg surely is a good test, but is this a
release requirement?
If it is, we need another builder.

R-1.8.1 scheduled for November 21
The release of R-1.8.1 is scheduled for Friday, November 21.
Automatic generation of daily alpha releases should start tomorrow
(I'll do the first by hand later today) and switch to beta status on
Friday, November 14.
It would be good if package maintainers could get any planned changes
done as soon as possible, and test their packages carefully against
the alpha/beta releases.

2.6.1 scheduled for November 26
This is to announce that we plan to release R version 2.6.1 on Monday,
November 26, 2007.
The current experience is that beta releases receive very little end-user testing and that most bugs are not found until (shortly) after release. Accordingly, we have decided this time to skip the beta phase and go directly for one week of RC (Release Candidate) versions. The main bugs to get rid of are the
