Re: Is it possible to configure libvirt's MAC generation?
Specify the MAC address as part of the domain XML for the bootstrap node. See https://libvirt.org/formatdomain.html#elementsNICS. If using virt-install, set it as part of the --network option: "--network NETWORK,mac=12:34..." - Peter On Fri, 12 Jun 2020 at 18:07, Ian Pilcher <arequipeno@gmail.com> wrote: > Is it possible to configure libvirt to generate

Unfortunately, the domain XML is created by the OpenShift installer, over which I have no control. :-( Digging into the libvirt source, it doesn't look like there's any way to configure MAC address

Introduction
Following the Contribute directions, I'm BruceHowells. I'd like to contribute to the OpenShift page, as I'm trying to work through bringing up OpenShift on CentOS and have found an error in the documentation (a reference to "yum install openshift" rather than centos-release-openshift-origin) that I'd like to correct. I also would like to extend the existing content.

Timeout for Queue
Hello, We had an incident recently where a call was in queue for an extended period of time. We use queuemetrics for reporting, and it reports that the call was waiting for 20 minutes. The different thing about it is that the disconnect reason is stated as Timeout. Is there a set maximum time a call will wait in the queue before being automatically disconnected? I tried looking through the code

Re: Is it possible to configure libvirt's MAC generation?
One solution would be to dump the XML for the domain and then run something like sed on it to change what ever you want and then update the domain. Of course that will only work if the domain is stopped. Using Samba AD/DC as an Active Directory OAuth provider for OpenShift
Hi everyone, I have a working Samba AD/DC (4.12.6 on RHEL7.8) setup I'm trying to use with OpenShift (a container platform to which RedHat contributes - aka OCP). I'm also not too skilled on LDAP even though I've been running the above for over two years now.. There are typically two steps involved in connecting AD to OCP: 1) declare an OAuth configuration in OCP (requires a bind

Copeland Engineering Dockmaster
Thank you - I have included the capture, and attached it here. USB is new to me. I am a good sysadmin, but terrible programmer. I was able to use the usbhid-dump utility using -e stream, the last octet will report the state of the detected power (1/2 for ignition on, 3 for ignition off, 0 for powered-off). 4th one seems to be voltage, and the 5th and 6th I believe are timers:

External PRI Appliance
Hello, I'm supporting an Asterisk setup in the Cayman Islands(I'm in Canada), which is running a PRI to a local telecom provider. We are looking at improving the setup, setting up high availability etc. My manager is interested in putting a TDMOE device in place, so we can easily switch the line remotely. He's looking at the following device:

Voicemail Password
Does anyone know of a way to force the voicemail password for users to be of a certain length? We've setup operator=yes within our voicemail.conf and want to have the users use a long password to prevent possible guessing by external parties. I'm not seeing any such option in my research. If it doesn't exist it might be a decent feature. Thanks. Running: 1.4.25, on CentOS 4.7

Introducing minister
Hi All, Kubernetes and Openshift have amazing projects called minikube and minishift which make it very easy to setup those distributed systems for easy development. As the Gluster ecosystem grows, we have more external projects which require easy setup of multi node Gluster cluster. Hence, along those lines, I introduce to you...minister (mini + Glu"ster").
