Hi, I'm running libvert on a Debian 7 system. I have upgraded libvert and qemu from source (v1.06 and 1.5.0 respectively) and the problem persists. The guest OS is also a Debian 7 system running a non-SMP kernel. Error starting domain: internal error: Unable to add port vnet0 to OVS bridge br0
I have installed OVS from sources using the installation steps mentioned on this link: http://docs.openvswitch.org/en/latest/intro/install/general/ I had installed libvrt, KVM, QEMU and all the necessary packages using apt-get. My KVM-QEMU hypervisor has been running well. To add a VM with the port attached to OVS bridge I changed the XML domain file as per the instructions on this page:

Problem with net-define using Open vSwitch bridge
Hi all, I used "net-define" to create a network to use to attach VMs to an Open vSwitch bridge. The net-define worked fine, I can see the network in "net-list" (I set it to started and to autostart) but when I try to attach a new VM's NIC to this network (via virt-manager), I'm getting the following traceback: Unable to complete install: 'Unable to add bridge

Emulated TPM doesn't work on Debian Buster
Hi. I am very interested in the security properties a totally open TPM can give our users? - its use as a universal smartcard to protect all types of keys. When adding the virtual 1.2 or 2.0 TPM I get the vague error below. OS is Debian stable with standard packages. Re: error: internal error: missing backend for pool type 11 (zfs)
@Michal: Thanks for your reply! Indeed I have found a package in the AUR (libvirt-zfs) and only had to change to the current version and add zfs-utils as dependency in the PKGBUILD. Now I don't get the previous error anymore but I still cannot setup a VM because I constantly get errors due to wrong permissions. I have tried to change the permissions in: - /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf -

firewalld, no dhcp and virsh
On all of the networks I create, I really don't want libvirt/KVM/virt-manager to do any kind of DHCP. I'm currently using xml files to feed into libvirt via virsh, for example: <network> <name>192_0_1</name> <bridge name='swan01' stp='on' delay='0' /> <mac address='12:00:00:16:16:BA'/> <ip
