libvrtd-1.1.0 crashes when attempting to start some (but not all) LXC containers
Hello all,
I have two issues:
1) I am unable to start a seemingly correct LXC domain (I cloned it from a
working domain).
2) I am able to crash "libvirtd" by attempting to start the cloned domain,
but starting the original works just fine.
I humbly submit that item #2 is a bug - the "libvirtd" daemon should
never crash due to anything the "libvirt" client

LXC and syslog seperation (/dev/log)
Hello,
I'm seeing syslog messages "bleed" from the host and other LXC into
the messages, maillog, secure logs of other LXCs.
I'm using libvirt 1.0.0 on a host with systemd and kernel 3.9.10.
Each LXC is running an older non-systemd linux distribution
Is this a known issue? Is there a work around?
Thank you for you time,
Jim

LXC + USB passthrough = Operation not permitted
Hi!
First post, kind of a noobie. I've been working with LXC and libvirt for a
few months now. Trying to do some interesting things with containers and
Android devices :D
I'm running ubuntu 13.10 with LXC 1.0.1 and tried both libvirt 1.1.1 and
1.2.2 (backported from ubuntu-trusty), but with either version of libvirt
am getting issues as soon as I try to get access to USB devices inside

Re: LXC + USB passthrough = Operation not permitted
Yeah, AppArmor is enabled, but I put everything (that I could find) into
complain mode:
$ sudo apparmor_status
apparmor module is loaded.
12 profiles are loaded.
3 profiles are in enforce mode.
lxc-container-default
lxc-container-default-with-mounting
lxc-container-default-with-nesting
9 profiles are in complain mode.
/sbin/dhclient
/usr/bin/lxc-start

firmware everywhere, Centos 7.5 too.
I'm trying poor man's setup to get the servers onto 10GbE network.
Setup is such that three Dell R815 are connected to each other, each has
one Solarflare(SFP ports) and each Solarflare is set as net-team(both
ports on a card are net-team device) with runner in broadcast

Fatal: setgid, imap connections dropped.
Hi,
I'm getting errors with my IMAP setup.
Basically, everything seems to work.
Mail is delivered nicely from Postfix to Dovecot via LMTP. Dovecot does
the authentication to LDAP (also for Postfix). Users are able to send mail
via authenticated submission (Postfix) and login into IMAP and POP.
However, IMAP connections are dropped frequently with an "ERROR:

Yum choosing remote repositories first
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Okey, here is something interesting.
So I finished downloading all CentOS 4.4 images (CDs and DVD) before
anything else. Now I have the dvd iso mounted (-o loop), and changed
CentOS-Base.repo so the [base] repo will point to it.
# yum update
Boom! Yum tries to use the [update] repository (not local) to upgrade
to 4.4.
What I ended up doing is:

Excel files Locking up problem
Hi,
My samba is 3.0.13 version.
I got a funny problem. UserA logs on to a shared (all users can read/write/execute rights) drive and opens an excel file. UserA closes the file or modifies it. When UserA reopens the file in 5 secs or less, the file seems to be lock by the computer that UserA is on! When UserA had closed the file, UserB on another computer tries to open the file and it says

<filesystem/> tag, example:
<filesystem type='block' accessmode='passthrough'>
<source dev='/dev/data/lvm-part1'/>
<target dir='/'/>
</filesystem>
Now we start use ssd disk and think how to provide additional options
for mount root FS in container:

Re: LXC + USB passthrough = Operation not permitted
Further followups!
We are correlating DEBUG-level output from libvirt with the libvirt 1.2.2
code to try to figure out what libvirt is doing under the hood.
Even though we have the log level set to 1 (info) in our libvirtd.conf, we
are not seeing the VIR_DEBUG() [1] statements being printed out. There are
tons of other presumably-debug lines of output showing up in our log. We
are sort of

[Asterisk]Asterisk's behavior of a simple call
Hello,
I tried to configure a very simple case of Asterisk using SIP
userA --- Asterisk server ---- userB
sip.conf
[userA]
type=friend
username=userA
host=dynamic
nat=no
context=test
[userB]
type=friend
username=userB
host=dynamic
nat=no
context=test
In extensions.conf
[test]
exten => 1000,1,Dial(SIP/userA)
exten => 2000,1,Dial(SIP/userB)
I make a call from userA to userB, it works,
