Re: Clock skew on Win10
Hi, I haven't received any replies to this, but I'm still having a
problem with clock skew on Win10.
How can I troubleshoot this? I'm pretty sure the clock settings are
correct from within Windows, but when the VM resumes from the host
sleeping, the clock is off by some seemingly random number of hours.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Re: Problem using virt-sysprep with RBD images
Hello Richard,
Haha, ok, here's a good one: I commented that if statement out at line 300,
applied your patch (I see you updated the github of this code, perhaps
that's the best place to grab the code from), and when I run virt-sysprep,
I get the following parameter for my disk drive:

Question, how to coorelate snapshot ID's to the files that they represent?
Hi folks, first post :)
I'm running Redhat 6 x64 with ibvirt-0.10.2-18 and qemu-img-rhev-0.12.1.2-2.355
My question is, if I do something like the following..
[root@testbox ~]# virsh snapshot-list STIGtest
Name Creation Time State
------------------------------------------------------------

kickstart compat C7 -> C8
Hi all,
I still use the following kickstart partition scheme for C7 installations (via virt-install):
Briefly, fixed size for /root and /boot, and the rest is filled up for /srv.
The same kickstart (despite that c7 uses vda, f29 uses sda) doesn't work with Fedora29 (EL8).
I get a "device is too small for new format" error. Any hints?

Same host migration
Hi,
I have been selected for GSoC'19 under qemu and was
trying out migration of the pvrdma device.
For my current task, I need to perform a "null" migration
i.e. migrate the VM to the same host for testing purpose.
I am using libvirt 5.1.0 on Fedora 30.
>From what I know, libvirt does not allow this type of
migration by default.
Trying this:
virsh migrate --unsafe --verbose

Use case to test Clock skew on SAMBA4 (4.4.5)
Hi Experts ,
I have a situation where I have to demonstrate that if the time
difference between Samba4 (AD) and Windows Client is more that 5 Min (
as per Kerbrose ) , the user should note be allowed to login via that
windows PC .
When I simulate it I get Clock skew in the logs ( as shown below ) but
the user is allowed to login .

Clock skew detected
Hi,
I just made a fresh install on a new box and at the end I got this message:
make: warning: Clock skew detected. Your build may be incomplete.
I had all the various libs added to a default install of RH 9. Though its
possible that I'm short on developer tools. Any clues anyone?

Bacula 9.4.1 Dbdriver issue
Hi list,
I created my rpm for Bacula 9.4.1 reading centos srpm spec files. I made
a single package and not split in several packages because this is my
first rpm so I created my spec file taking a cue from bacula-5.3 spec file.
All works as intended, an rpm was created and installed without any not
fixable issue.
After installing my bacula rpm I run a test to see if all works as
expected.

I've upgraded my pdc to 2000 (compatibility mode with nt), and I want the

I've changed my smb.conf, and try
net ads join -UAdministrator
But I get the following error :

I set up a Windows Server 2012 R2 DC and the behaviour is the same: I
can log on to a Win7 client (2 weeks time difference). And if I kinit
from a Linux machine, I also get the already expired ticket.

"clock skew" when building libraries
Hi,
I am new to Linux. I recently installed R (0.64.1 using rpm for Red Hat 6.0);
then I installed several libraries. When following the steps in VR complements
to R, everything worked fine but I got the following messages (this happened
for every single one of the libraries installed):

We have also seen the same problem with 2.6.18-164.9.1 and 2.6.18-164.6.1

Symptom: On 32-bit domU only (we have never seen 64-bit domU be affected),

kinit clock skew issue from same machine as krb server
I've been running Samba 4x on FreeBSD successfully for years with a single Active Directory domain controller but have recently added a second domain controller. The setup worked great for a few days but suddenly developed a series of permission-denied style errors and UID mapping errors on the new/second DC2 which I've been slowly working through.
My current issue which I've been
