webrick seen only on local machine
I am running the webrick server (/script/server) and I would like to be able to view the application from any browser. However, I can only see my application from a browser opened up on the localhost. When I use any other browser it times out. I have already modified the following line in the /script/server file (I''ve tried the numeric ip address also) so that it is the real ip

Funny issue with chroot + symlink outside chroot
Hi, The problem I found is not in what rsync, but on the error handling: How to reproduce: On server side I setup a tree and share using rsync + xinetd, of course, for security reason I use chroot option. Now I push this symlink: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 nov 10 16:28 horsroot -> /bin/ Now I try to do: ./rsync -avPH --copy-unsafe-links draco::test/ /tmp/rsyncdest/ (Of course the

wpa_supplicant service script marked executable
I just installed a fresh CentOS 7 with "minimal" setup. Upon restart of systemd I get this warning: Configuration file /usr/lib/systemd/system/wpa_supplicant.service is marked executable. Please remove executable permission bits. Proceeding anyway. Probably the exec bit is no longer needed. -- Ciao, luigi / +--[Luigi Rosa]-- \ Draco dormiens nunquam titillandos.

Samba domain name in short format
Hi Rowland, Thanks for your advice. I discussed this with my manager and we will plan to upgrade the old system. But this will not be finished with short time. After reading many old emails in this forum, I made some changes in our Samba settings. First, we turned on winbind and added all necessary packages and setup for winbind. Finally, we can login with the short format, such as YALE\zs24.

Hi everyone, I'm working on a project where I need to add the addresses's of specific instructions to the DWARF output. I've been digging around for the last week or so trying to figure out exactly what I need to do, but this is my first list posting. I came across this posting: http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/pipermail/llvmdev/2010-September/034464.html which seems to be doing almost

namespace problem / 1.1beta11
Hi all, actually I got a problem with the namespaces in dovecot 1.1 beta11. It occured after purging index files and resynch via imapsync. Dovecot complains about "Unknown namespace", though it worked with versions before. I cannot comfirm for 1.1beta10, but I surely know 1.1beta9 worked with these settings. Example: From Folder [INBOX/Trash] To Folder [___________] To Folder
