OT - pushing database updates to web browser
This is O/T apart from the fact that the server is Centos running Apache / Postgresql. I want to develop a real time (ish) dashboard type web page showring extracts of the contents of a table. I would like any changes that occur to be pushed to the web clients rather than have the clients poll the database. Based on the fact that I have not managed to come up with a successful Google search

using parameter with puppet dashboard and site.pp
I have just set up my puppet dashboard to be used as a ENC. This is for the time being the easiest way to get support guys to add nodes to classes. I have to use global parameters in my modules if I would like to declare parameters using dashboard as the ENC. So I have a module which does this: class resolver ($domain_name=$::domainname, $search_path=$::searchpath,

Rails Powers #1 Selling Album Site
Just a heads up that the new record label site for Vagrant Records runs on Rails and PostgreSQL. Right now it is FCGI based but we''re moving to Apache+Mongrel next week. It is looking like they are going to have the #1 selling album in the country this week with Dashboard Confessional''s new record. Just a note to let people know that Rails has penetrated Billboard!

RE: [E164-discuss] RE: E164 updater Client
Duane is working on this, there are some problems with asterisk at the moment in delivering this back to the 'caller' and the status ap is the first step in delivering this awareness information. Does anyone want to help duane and matthew write this as they both have like a million things going on at the moment between them. I noticed www.no-ip.com have a dns updater, so something built

ovirt web interface 500 Internal Server error
Hello, I built ovirt this morning and ovirt web interface does not work anymore. I am able to login but only dashboard and networks are visible... no default hardware pool is visible. Monitor Application with Queued calls
Due to management concerns our asterisk system has been setup to record all phone calls for some time now (before the 1.0 release). Everything was working fine until we upgraded 1.0.5 where all calls are recorded except those that pass through a queue (we are not using the queue record functionality because there are some minor issues with using it in our scenario). Specifically, the

Site5 Hosting: Defautl Root Directory for site
Just signed up for hosting with Site5. So far the service has been great, but one question I had couldn''t be answered by the tech support. I need to change the default root directory of my site from public_html to a rails directory (i.e. foo/app/public). The tech support suggested mod_rewrite. Any other suggestions on ways to accomplish this? Thanks, Nathan -------------- next

Doc/web site problems
Hi all -- I have one meta-question, and two real questions. 1) What's the best place to report bugs in the docs, FAQ, web site, or wiki? I have found two -- see next points. (I'm happy to make the fixes myself if I can, but I'm pretty ignorant about libvirt. Can't fix the docs without knowing the truth.) 2) In the FAQ, under "networking is unavailable in virt-manager /
