Summary functions to dataframe
I have written a few different summary functions. I want to calculate
the statistics by groups and I am having trouble getting the output as a
dataframe. I have attached one example with a small dataset that
calculates summary stats and percentiles, I have others that calculate
upper confidence limits etc. I would like the output to be converted to
a dataframe with one of the columns as the

Re: LIbvirt Python Snapshot -Domain Crashing
Martin,
Actually domain doesn't crash, but it state got changed to pause, till the
snapshot action got complete.
Its a time consuming process.
so here is my requirement.
I want to take snapshot of a Running Domain on every 3 hours,( at a later
point of time It should be possible to revert to the actual domain state
when I took the snapshot), I'm using libvirt APIs python bindings,

greendragon build noisy due to mmap_stress.cc
I have added a Jenkins check for this test, which explains why it fails on some builds.
Can we change the test to keep its output? Will it just be blank anyways?

sip over h323
Hi List,
we are using openh323 gatekeeper for voip telefony. We also have a voip
over ss7 TELES Switch for voip into POSTN Network. Know we want to use
Asterisk for converting SIP to h323.
Now my question. Is Asterisk an full h323 gatekeeper like openh323? Do
we need openh323 GK for astrerisk, too?. And how can i tell asterisk
to sent all none SIP-ip calls to the gatekeeper over h323?
thx

Lots of Samba (smbd) processes
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew why there would be so many Samba (smbd) processes running on my SCO OpenServer 5.0.5 system? I found an awful lot of them running, much more that what I would expect given the number of Windows PC's on the network. One of the users was having trouble accessing a file on the SCO system, and that is when I discovered this. I actually had to write a program

h323 gnugk to h323 asterisk and then to endpoint
hi,
we are using a voip h323 switch. the switch sends all caals to our
Gatekeeper (gnugk).
gnugk musst send all calls to asterisk and asterisk must do his choice
(sip endpoint or out to PSTN)
Making calls to our h323 switch works fine over asterisk. what must i
configure to get inboung h323 calls from our gnugk to asterisk?
any hints for me?
thx

I have a small problem. When switching a call (pstn -> sip user), I get the
sip phone ringing - ie. everything is OK, but I do not get a ringtone in the
handset on the pstn side. Can anyone help me out in how to make * play tones
?
My setup:

that I set to run in the crontab of the backup user do not appear to
be running. Here's how I set it up (with crontab -e as the backup
user):
run amanda every night (check at 2:45 and backup at 3)

about overriding dlls
I am checking an old bug http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9637 which happens to affect several games. Before arriving to the bug in question, one has to workaround another bug relate to shdocvw.dll.
It is recommended to override a set of libraries which I believe should be put in system32. However, at least some of the dlls are already there. Are these the wine builtins or rather proxies as

Sorry if this is posted to the wrong forum but as it is related to a problem
I have with Asterisk it may just scrape through!!
I am running Fedora 1 and I can telnet in to my asterisk box as any user
except root and am using the same credentials as logging in locally. I am
new to Linux and any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks

Rsync tries to access unnecessary files/dirs after chrooting itself.
Hi.
While debugging some encfs errors in the logs, I realized they are
being generated because rsync (chrooted inside a encfs file system,
--reverse) is trying to access files like: /root/.popt, /etc/localtime
etc. This doesn't seem to be related to ID-name mapping as I already
have numeric ids enabled in config. Here is the relevant strace
output:
[pid 25549] chroot("/chroot")

This morning all of the dovecot processes are
