Re : Libvirt Java Bindings
I am developing a Java Application using Libvirt. I found that the Java
Bindings are not in active development.
I need to obtain the IP Address of the Domain. In C, it may relate to
virDomainInterfaceAddresses. Is there any way to implement it in Java.

Hi All,
Has anybody had any managed to use the libvirt java bindings on Windows 7
64bit (or similar configuration)?
I am using Java 6.
When I try to use the Test.class delivered with the bindings it always
fails with the following error:

Question about the remote Authentication in the libvirt Java bindings
Dustin:
I am adding this response to the libvirt list as well so that others may
see it.
The authorization is done via a callback. The ConnectAuthDefault() that
you are using is one such implementation. You could create your own
subclass of ConnectAuth, and override the method:
public abstract int callback(Credential[] cred);
And then provide the username/password in that fashion. Look at

Java Bindings for libvirt
Hi
I looked at the java bindings for libvirt at
http://libvirt.org/sources/java/ . Latest version here is 0.4.7 whereas the
latest version of libvirtd is 0.9.1 . Does the java binding use latest
libvirtd ?
If not, can it be created easily ?
Also, is there any plan to support HyperV support in future ?
Thanks

libvirt: C++ or Java
Hello,
I am planning to develop a management application for managing Redhat Xen and Redhat KVM hypervisors. I am evaluating the Java bindings versus the C++ version of libvirt. As part of evaluation, I could not find meaningful answers to the questions below. Hence, I thought that people on this mailing list would be the most appropriate to comment on them. Can you please let me know your views?

binding.
I am on Ubuntu 10.04 and I have installed libvirt-0.85, libvirt-java-0.4.6

binding at Eclipse and the default test of the binding runs properly. When I

Java Bindings on a Mac
I had to make some changes (sorry no diff available) to "configure" in
0.9.9 of the bindings so that I could compile them for OS X 10.4.8.
Essentially I replaced the the paths to jni.h with
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Headers. It compiled
without error and created both libxapian_jni.so and xapian_jni.jar in
the "built" subdirectory when I ran "make

Pre-requisites to use Java bindings with QEMU
Hello everyone,
I've been reading through the articles on the website trying to understand
what's needed to use the libvirt Java bindings with a QEMU hypervisor, but
still have some uncertainties/questions:
1. It is my understanding that libvirtd has to be running on the machine
hosting the hypervisor. Correct?
2. For libvirtd to communicate with QEMU, QEMU has to be installed on the

[PATCH 0/6] Various Java bindings fixes.
This short patch series fixes various problems with the Java bindings,
including enabling support for functions that return hash tables
(returned as Map<String,String>).
With this, the Java bindings are improved although still not perfect.
The last remaining issue is to implement support for functions that
take optional arguments.

Java Bindings against RHEL5.5 KVM
Hi all,
I'm doing some dev work against the native RHEL/centos 5.5 KVM
installation for maintenance, creation and deletion of virtual guests
using the libvirt API vai the java bindings from a java based web app.
Things in general seem to be working - I can connect to and query the
kvm instance using the libvirt interface and get a list of guests,
pull information about them and
