Add host
Hi, I have two host machines both installed with libvirt and virt-manager, which provides me with GUI. I have virtual machines running in one of the host. Now I want to migrate some of the virtual machines to the other machines. I am trying to migrate using the Virtual Machine Manager. When I select migrate, it pops up a window to choose the new host. The dropdown menu to choose the new host for

Re: snapshot anomaly
I had the same problem yesterday. I found the solution from this article https://kashyapc.fedorapeople.org/virt/lc-2012/snapshots-handout.html. According to the article it deletes the tracking metadata by libvirt. You can physically remove the snapshot now that there is no tracking stream data by libvirt On Wed, Aug 23, 2017 at 4:56 PM, Doug Hughes <doug.hughes@keystonenap.com> wrote:

Hi, Can you try this command: virsh snapshot-delete serv1r2 snap --metadata On Wed, Aug 23, 2017 at 4:41 PM, Doug Hughes <doug.hughes@keystonenap.com> wrote: > I'm not sure how this snapshot got created, but, I cannot delete it, and > its presence prevents me from creating other snapshots. Any idea what happened to cause it to partially fail and get into this state? virsh blockcommit --pivot is actually 3 operations in sequence: 1) initiate the commit job 2) wait till it finishes 3) initiate the pivot job (this is

recovering from deleted snapshot
I have an automatic process setup. It's still pretty new and obviously in need of better error handling because now I find myself in a bad state. I run snapshot-create-as across all my vms, then do zfs replication to the target backup system, then blockcommit everything. virsh snapshot-create-as --domain $vm snap --diskspec $DISK,file=$VMPREFIX/"$vm"-snap.qcow2 --disk-only --atomic

Re: Add host
In file > Add connection I use ssh with login root. For this, you’ll have to add your ssh public key to the authorizedkeys file of the root user of the second host. Be carefull. Unless I’m behind with the features. Migrating hosts with virt-manager is only supported with shared storage. To migrate a host including the storage, you’ll have to use virsh. packet loss on ixgbe using vlans and ipv6
Hi, I have a Dell T710 with 4 X 10G ethernet interfaces (2 X Dual port Intel 82599 cards). It is running FreeBSD RELENG_8 last updated on July 13. What I see is packet loss (0 - 40%) on IPv6 packets in vlans, when the machine is not the originator of the packets. Let me try to describe a little more. If a neigbouring machine ping6 it, there will be packet loss. If it act as a router for ipv6,

Listen to ARI events
I’ve reread the documentation a few times, and what isn’t clear is whether I need an app=X parameter in the url. In other words, can I only get events for a single named statis app? Or can I get events for the entire Asterisk server? The command below (without app= parameter) results in no events being shown, but no error either. Thanks Brian (Ast newbie) From: asterisk-users

Request for Help
Good Day The attached document refers. I have recently attended an introduction course to R, and now wish to apply the program into my work analysis. The spreadsheet contains water quality data sampled from different locations within a catchment. I wish to group the variables per point (Point Name), Year (all samples per year eg 1985 etc) These should be averages of each year. Lastly, I wish

labelling plots with ancillary data in data.frame
Hi All, I am busy using R to do some regression modelling and have been using plot(x,y,"") to visualise my variables. I would now like to label my points using data stored in the data.frame used for the regression analysis. For example each of my data points is made up of a field measured forest volume value and a remotely sensed vegetation estimate (NDVI). Each point is an enumeration

list archive anomaly
At the list archive page (http://mailman.ds9a.nl/pipermail/lartc/) there is an amazing message from the future: the year 2032 (q1). Not that I know anything about mailman, but someone might want to "maintain" that. -- ****************************************************************** Glen W. Seeking Collaboration in Development and Validation of an Anomaly Detection System for Asterisk
We are currently doing research and development on an open-source runtime application monitoring system for Asterisk. This system is aimed at detecting and mitigating problems or vulnerabilities that arise from residual errors--whether unintentional or malicious--either in the application code or in its configuration or usage patterns. It can, for example, be used to detect and prevent
