Hardware requirements for SPICEd desktops
Hello,
I posted the following to the kvm list yesterday, but now I suspect this
is a more appropriate place to ask...
I'm considering to build a new server and to use SPICE protocol to
deploy all the Windows guests to the local network.
It's my understanding that:
1. I should create the guests on the server
2. I should use remote-viewer on a minimal desktop linux on the clients

Percentage of the whole screen with spice client
Hi all,
Somebody knows how can I assign screen geometry as a percentage of the
whole screen like rdesktop does?? For example: "spicec -g 80%". Maybe
using xorg.conf specific configuration??
Thanks.

Regarding SPICE
Hi,
I have set up KVM on FC12.
I was wondering if its possible to Display the VM using spice + libvirt?
As in, if I can define my domain with graphics like:
<graphics type='spice' port='-1' autoport='yes' listen='0.0.0.0'/>
or
<graphics type='spice' port='5903' '

As I already told, I did this and my fellow sysadmins didn't liked. :-(

spice session locking
Hi List,
Is it possible to prevent other clients from stealing my libvirtd
hosted spice session? This is a problem for me where multiple
co-workers access the same guest over a qemu+ssh:// connection.
Instead of simply disconnecting clients, I'd like libvirtd to deny the
new client.
I've been looking at polkit acl rules and the vnc sharePolicy
attribute but so far no luck.

Re: spice session locking
Any idea how to do this with virsh or hooks? Qemu seems to have a
spice.set_ticket command, but calling this from virsh's
'qemu-monitor-command guest --hmp --cmd spice.set_ticket password'
doesn't work.
The password would somehow have to be reset once the client logs out.
