Windows, qemu.agent is it possible to shut down services in running windows server?
Hi List,
i installed qemu-agent on a windows server and it is working as
expected.
I can send via virsh commands. I already performed successful an online
backup of an windows server.
Now my question is, is it possible to execute commands on the windows
server via qemu-agent?
I want to shutdown the MSSQL Service before doing backups.
Is that possible? i dont find any helpful pages in net.

Re: vm in qcow2 runs on host A but not on host B
This might be related to the configuration of the virtual machine. A
machine configured to have cpu X might not start up when it is changed to
cpu Y. We also observed that a windows host does not boot on a ubuntu host
with the default kvm configuration.

Please try newer libvirt. There were some fixes related to iptables/nf_tables
in libvirt in recent releases, so it might just solve that for you.

Issues with RPC, SID resolving; cannot use RSAT
seems removing idmap settings from smb.conf on both DCs having them has
fixed it. smbclient and ADUC work as expected, now.

[LLVMdev] Gentoo ebuild of LLVM
Hi guys,
there are few issues concerning LLVM and Gento Linux below.
1. Gentoo encourages to think of smarter packaging.
Oversimplified, but...
there are at least three audiences using LLVM:
- application users
- developers *using* LLVM in their projects
- developers *changing* LLVM sources.
Application users are not interested in LLVM, they are rather
interested to have their favorite

No TTY prealloc; Tru64 can't do post-auth privsep
Well, after digging around and thinking some more, I'm giving up on the
idea of preallocating a TTY to get post-auth privsep working on Tru64.
I don't think it will work, because just allocating a TTY doesn't fix
the problem - there's no valid way to tie that TTY back to the client
process (because it hasn't requested a TTY yet and may not ever do so).
The problem is that the

mejora estética del resultado de una función
Hola,
El print() es redundante en cat(). Una alternativa que resuelve el
problema es:
foo2 <- function(x){
x2 <- x^2
for(i in 1:length(x)) cat("El cuadrado de",x[i],"es", x2[i],"\n")
}
x <- c(2,4,6)
foo2(x)
#El cuadrado de 2 es 4
#El cuadrado de 4 es 16
#El cuadrado de 6 es 36
Saludos,
Jorge.-
