I have set root in both for user and group in the qemu.conf and changed the file permissions to root like it was before. kvm & permission denied
Everyone, I am trying to install KVM on a desktop unit as a lab project with the hope of being able to use kvm on one of our office servers after I learn how. Re: error: internal error: missing backend for pool type 11 (zfs)
@Michal: Thanks for your reply! Indeed I have found a package in the AUR (libvirt-zfs) and only had to change to the current version and add zfs-utils as dependency in the PKGBUILD. Now I don't get the previous error anymore but I still cannot setup a VM because I constantly get errors due to wrong permissions. I have tried to change the permissions in: - /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf -

Problem creating VM: "tap: not a valid disk type"
Hi, I am having problems creating VMs in virt-manager. I have played with different xen hypervisor versions 3.0 & 3.4 (with rpm -i --force) but have in principle gone back to the originals. - Though I cannot absolutely exclude that something has gone wrong. In principle I am using rhel 5.4 with the gitco xen 3.4 hypervisor. Can anybody put me on the right track with the attached error
