Thunderbird package chrome icon
Hello,
Since starting to use the Thunderbird package provided through the
CentOS yum repos (currently using thunderbird-1.5.0.9-0.1.el4.centos4),
my co-worker and I have noticed that we no longer have a Thunderbird
icon in the title bar of any of the Thunderbird application windows. I
was able to fix this by creating the directory
/usr/lib/thunderbird-1.5.0.9/chrome/icons/default/ and

Wine on Cygwin
Hi,
It's been some time since the question was asked: Does wine now compile on
cygwin?
I know there are some apps and games out there that just won't run under
Win2k/XP anymore and for them a wine running under Win2k/Xp would be like the
perfect solution.
Has anyone infos on this?
Thanks in advance
Jeff

And I try run the game... but it always says that IPX

Visual Studio build of Opus-1.0.1-rc
Hi everone,
I currently try to test the Opus codec. It seems, however, that it is
more easy to do that in Linux.
Nevertheless, I have compiled the sources in Visual Studio 2010. Here
are some hints:
1) "static inline int function(...)" (combination of static and inline)
does not work with Visual Studio 2010. I defined a macro which
translates all "inline" to nothing.
2) I

How to configure printers (newbie question)
Hi
Just started playing with wine to run an old Window's 16 bit app
(Idealist). The app runs fine, give or take a font issue, but having
read the FAQ and docs, I cannot find any info on configuring printers so
when I go File->Print it needs to present the printer I want to print
to. I noticed some LPT commands and have a default Linux printer
(HPLJ2100) setup. So any info on how I can get

Why use a Subdomain?
New to Ruby on Rails. I''ve been playing around with an application I set
up at rails.foo.com.
Basically this means that all my pages tied to the application live on
that subdomain. Is there any reason for not just installing onto your
parent domain foo.com and putting your static pages in the public dir
that ruby on rails creates?
The answer seems like a simple yes, however all the

pagination and nested parameters
Hi all,
I''ve got a couple select_date form helpers. For pagination, I need to submit
these form values. I tried this, but it''s apparently wrong:
link_to ''Previous page'', {
:page => @schedule_pages.current.previous,
:params => {:date => {:month => @month}, :date => {:year => @year}}
}
I tried a few variations, but no luck.

W2k clients wont' join samba
Ralf,
I am using Samba 2.2.5-10 and haven't had any issues with getting Win2K
clients to connect to the domain after getting Samba properly configured
as a PDC. It could be a minor configuration issue. Although, in my
reading I could only get confirmation that Samba 2.2.5-x would work with
Windows 2000 Clients regardless of the Service Pack level.
You might need to take a

Dear list,
I've been trying to get gWidgets/gWidgetsRGtk2 to run every other month
for a while, but somehow I simply can't figure out what's going wrong.
I tried several distributions of the GTK runtime environment for Windows

Sound Quality - Part 2 (mp3)
Hi All,
Thanks to the people that responded to my question. The suggestion of using SJphone instead of the Xten phone resolved the problem :-)
I now have another sound related problem! I've installed mpg123 and ensured that the binary is copied to /usr/bin as well as the default install location. mpg123 plays mp3s back perfectly via the desktop speakers, but when I playback an mp3 via the

Problem with sieve configuration on dovecot+debian_jessie+ISPC3
I'm new-ish to dovecot and sieve (haven't used it extensively till now)
and I'm not sure that I configured everything propperly.
The problem is that we're trying to get the following sieve code to run:
require ["fileinto", "regex", "date", "relational", "vacation",
