[PATCH v2] arm: introduce a DTS for Xen unprivileged virtual machines
Given that the xenvm machine is based on vexpress but with an extremely
limited selection of peripherals (the guest is supposed to use virtual
devices instead), add "xen, xenvm" to the list of compatible machines in
mach-vexpress.
Changes in v2:
- remove include skeleton;
- use #address-cells = <2> and #size-cells = <2>;
- remove the debug bootargs;
- use memory@80000000

libguestfs on ARM
libguestfs now has experimental support for 32-bit ARM, including KVM
on ARM. You will need at least the following to make it all work:
- libguestfs 1.23.21 + 6e498461f6
Use ./configure --with-default-backend=direct. The libvirt backend
does not work (yet).
- supermin 4.1.5 + a55d9cf157
- kernel that supports virtio-mmio, virtio-scsi, virtio-serial
Note that the Fedora 20 kernel has

[PATCH supermin 0/2] helper: Implement device trees.
This two-part patch for supermin implements device trees (for ARM).
The first patch introduces a more rational way to handle command line
arguments in 'supermin-helper'. See the commit message for details.
The old style is still supported for compatibility.
The second patch adds an extra supermin-helper --dtb parameter
specifying a wildcard. A device tree file which matches the

Debootstrapping a rootfs for Xen on FastModels A15
Hi,
I''ve tried several different approaches to debootstrap a working
rootfs for with a Cortex A15 model ( FastModels ) and Xen but still
face some issues.
Some information on my setup.
For a Dom0 kernel I''m using the latest version from
git://github.com/torvalds/linux.git, I attached my config as it might
be of some use for others. I''m using the latest Xen unstable

Latest Xen on ARM Fast Models
Hi,
I''m having some problems with getting the latest linux kernel and xen build
working on ARM''s Fast Model simulator ( Cortex A15 ). I tried a lot of
different configurations and I''m having trouble with all of them. I got all
my information from the wiki pages at
http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Xen_ARMv7_with_Virtualization_Extensions#Building_Xen_on_ARM

Notes on libguestfs on Fedora/ARM
I've added some commits to ensure libguestfs can compile on Fedora/ARM
(with all options and bindings enabled except Haskell).
However it doesn't quite run yet:
(1) The Fedora qemu package is broken. Don't use it; compile qemu
from source instead.
(2) You have to configure libguestfs to pass extra qemu options.
Currently you should use:
PATH=/path/to/your/qemu/arm-softmmu:$PATH

[PATCH 1/2] kernel: refactor build_kernel & find_kernel
Move the handling of the SUPERMIN_* envvars, and the kernel copy/symlink
out of find_kernel to build_kernel: this way find_kernel does only the
search. Also, the modules path search is done in by find_kernel as
well.
This is mostly code motion, with no behaviour changes.

supermin on arm
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hi all,
I was testing oz/imagefactory on 32 bit arm, you have to have
kernel-lpae installed to run kvm. while you can have the regular
kernel installed also. You end up having the system booting the regular
kernel and you do not get kvm. Ideally supermin will work with the lpae
kernel.

[LLVMdev] CallGraph, GraphTraits and DominatorTree
Hi there,
I'm currently writing an analysis (for now) pass for LLVM that kind of need
some information from the CallGraph of the program. This info would be
extremely easy to get if I could build the DominatorTree information about
the CallGraph. I even checked out and saw the declarations of GraphTraits
templates for CallGraph and CallGraphNode, which might indicate that all
algorithms that

Success: Bring-up of LLVM/clang-built Linux ARM(32-bit) kernel for Android - Nexus 5
Hello,
I would like to share my successful bring-up of LLVM/clang-built Linux
ARM(32-bit) hammerhead kernel for Android running on my Nexus 5 smartphone.
After having successfully brought up LLVM/clang-built Linux kernel(since
v4.15.7 to the most recent v4.17) on x86_64, I was interested in
accomplishing the same on the ARM platform of my Nexus 5 - Android
smartphone. So, here is the complete

Problems computing 2-way-mixed-model ANOVA
Dear Experts,
I am new to R and unfortunately cannot start with a simply statistical

I manually determined the volume of the right and left hippocampus in
