similar to: virsh with OSX and virtualbox

I see that libvirt 1.1.0 should now support virtualbox 4.2, but I'm having problems getting it to work in OSX. I have built it using homebrew, which now has 1.1.0 in its formulae. The error I get when tying to connect is shown below. Any suggestions for where I should look next? The error about "Failed to find user record for uid 'NNNNN'" is odd. libvirtd *is* started

Hi, I started the VMs with libvirt 3 days ago (17th Feb).  Now when I am trying to shutdown the domain, all my virsh command is hanging even  virt-manager remains in "connecting.."  mode and is not showing active domains.When   I set  the libvirt debug env and call "virsh list"  it hangs in poll. Hi. I am running virtualbox 4.3 on Mac OS X 10.11.12 and libvirtd 1.3.1 (installed with brew). I want to control the virtual machines via virsh. On libvirtd, I enabled tcp mode, removed all the authentication etc.. It's a development environment, so no worries here. It allows me to make a call such as: virsh –c vbox+tcp://172.30.5.51/session list —all 172.30.5.51 being my Mac IP address.
