Re: vms not persistent after upgrading to f22?
Have you tried:
virsh define <xml definition file>
I thought it odd too that virsh create <xml defintion file> only created
a temp instance. But the first command did what I needed with
persistence.

Sounds like a virt-install bug to me.

pmvt problem in multcomp
Hi, all:
Two examples are shown below.
I want to use the multiple comparison of Dunnett.
It succeeded in upper case "example 1".
However, the lower case "example 2" went wrong.
In "example 2", the function pmvt return NaN, so I cannot show
this simtest result. Is there any solution?

eigenvalues of matrices of partial derivatives with ryacas
Hello,
I am trying to construct two matrices, F and V, composed of partial
derivatives and then find the eigenvalues of F*Inverse(V). I have the
following equations in ryacas notation:

Problems with recursive MPUT
I'm running samba 2.0.5a on a Sun Sparc 5 with Solaris 2.6 and trying to
use smbclient to copy an entire directory tree to a Windows NT 4.0 box.
I'm using the recurse command and can create first level directories but
I am unable to create new subdirectories in any of them.
For example I created the following directory structure on the Sun:
1 % ls -R

Countvariable for id by date
Best R-users,
Here’s a newbie question. I have tried to find an answer to this via help and the “ave(x,factor(),FUN=function(y) rank (z,tie=’first’)”-function, but without success.
I have a dataframe (~8000 observations, registerdata) with four columns: id, dg1, dg2 and date(YYYY-MM-DD) of interest:
id;dg1;dg2;date;

choose() function returning anomalous results (zero instead of one)
Hello,
(Apologies for length, wanted to get all the relevant detail in that I know
of).
I've been having a lot of trouble with some code for an inventory analysis
problem I was doing, and finally came to the conclusion that it appears
that choose() is returning incorrect values. Specifically:

[LLVMdev] [3.7.0] Two late issues with cross compilation to mips
To reduce memory consumption clobbered registers are handled with RegisterMask machine operands which contain a bitset of all registers clobbered.

[LLVMdev] [3.7.0] Two late issues with cross compilation to mips
Thanks. This is making a lot more sense now and it's looking like this issue isn't Mips specific.
Here's the IR dump before simple register coalescing (note: I've patched the IR printer to print the contents of the regmask):

"Matrix' with Functions
Dear R members,
I have a quite large of function that are named like that
f11,f12,...f15
f21,f22,...f25
..
f51,f52,...f52
These are static (hard-coded) functions that the only common they have is that they take the same number and type of input fij(a,b,c,d). As you might understand this is really close to the notion of matrix only that my 'matrix' contains functions. It would be great if

Error using the mi package
I'm trying to impute data using the mi package, but after running
through almost the entire first round of imputations (which takes
quite a while), it throws this error (I'll include the whole output
prior to the error for context). Does anyone know what is causing it,
or how I can fix it?
More specifically, how can I tell what is throwing the error so I know
what to fix? Is

Understanding the use of virt-install from the CLI (Linux)
Hello,
I've created several VMs using virt-manager and am using them. This
time around though, I'd like to use the CLI approach. The problem
resides in defining a storage space. This is using virt-install 1.5.1
on Xubuntu 18.04.
For the occasion I created a new directory to store images. So I
specify this new directory:
virt-install \
--name=arch01 \

Question for smbios
I am reposting this because it's been 2 or 3 weeks.
Hello,
Hopefully this is the right place to send a question like this...
I'm attempting to automate creation of VMs using virt-install and a
cloud-init disk image. To get this to work, I need to specify the location
of the cloud-init configs by passing smbios key/value pairs.
Normally, -smbios is provided to qemu to do this. With

Quick GREP challenge

[1] "f1=5,f22=3,"
How do I make the line output c("f1", "f22") instead? (Actually, c(1,22)
would be even better).
Thank you.
