[p2v PATCH 00/11] Expose virt-v2v's "-oo"; re-enable openstack
Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1792141
Let the user pass "-oo" options from the kernel cmdline and from the GUI
to virt-v2v. This is primarily useful with the OpenStack output mode,
so reenable that mode.

[PATCH 0/2] Change guestfs__*
libguestfs has used double and triple underscores in identifiers.
These aren't valid for global names in C++.
These large but completely mechanical patches change the illegal
identifiers to legal ones.

[PATCH v7 00/13] Refactor utilities
This is just the utilities part of the patch series from:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2017-June/msg00103.html
I believe this addresses everything raised in comments on that
patch series.

[PATCH 0/7] Add tar compress, numericowner, excludes flags.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=847880
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=847881
This patch series adds various optional arguments to the tar-in and
tar-out commands.
Firstly (1/7) an optional "compress" flag is added to select
compression. This makes the calls tgz-in/tgz-out/txz-in/txz-out
deprecated, and expands the range of compression types available.

[PATCH 00/12] Refactor utility functions.
This turned out to be rather more involved than I thought.
We have lots of utility functions, spread all over the repository,
with not a lot of structure. This moves many of them under common/
and structures them so there are clear dependencies.
This doesn't complete the job by any means. Other items I had on my
to-do list for this change were:
- Split up mllib/common_utils into:

[PATCH] p2v: tests: Don't fail when test machine has only a single hard disk.
virt-p2v looks in /sys/block to find disks, and ignores the hard disk
containing the root device. This is correct when virt-p2v runs off
the ISO, but when running the tests on a machine that has a single
hard disk, all_disks would be NULL, resulting in a test failure.
Fix this by allowing all_disks to be NULL, but adding an extra check
later so that we don't perform the conversion with no

[PATCH v7 13/13] daemon: Link guestfsd with libutils.
After the previous refactoring, we are able to link the daemon to
common/utils, and also remove some of the "duplicate" functions that
the daemon carried ("duplicate" in quotes because they were often not
exact duplicates).
Also this removes the duplicate reimplementation of (most) cleanup
functions in the daemon, since those are provided by libutils now.
It also allows us in

[common/libguestfs PATCH] utils: conditionally include config.h on HAVE_CONFIG_H
autotools define HAVE_CONFIG_H to signal a config.h was generated; since
this file is built directly also in bindings without the use of
config.h, make sure config.h is not requested in those cases.
This file uses only POSIX functions anyway, so it should not be a
problem.

[PATCH 0/7] Various Python cleanups.
Patch #7 depends on:

No, Python < 3 support is not dropped yet, however it will be easier
after this series.

[PATCH WIP 0/5] Fix virt-rescue.
This set of patches fixes virt-rescue rather cleanly. In particular
the problems with handling ^C are completely fixed.
Work still to be done before this can go upstream:
- Shutdown doesn't work properly if you exit the shell. At the
moment to exit you must do 'reboot -f'.
Future improvements:
- An escape sequence and escape commands that could be handled by

[PATCH 0/5] Fix virt-rescue.
This fixes the main issues in virt-rescue and is usable.
There are some enhancements which could be made (in follow up work):
- An escape sequence and escape commands that could be handled by
virt-rescue, eg. to shut down the appliance, mount or unmount
filesystems.
- `virt-rescue -i' could be implemented cleanly by performing the
right API calls before handing control to the

[PATCH v3 0/4] [FOR COMMENTS ONLY] Rework inspection.
Previously posted:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2015-December/msg00038.html
Inspection now really succeeds on a small number of simple guests.
To test it out:
$ ./run guestfish -v -x -a /tmp/centos-6.img
><fs> run
><fs> debug sh "guestfs-inspection --verbose"

and Windows guests.

[PATCH 0/5] Split virt-p2v in own repository
Hi,
as it was already discussed on this list, here it is my attempt in
splitting virt-p2v in an own repository. Sadly there are things that
must be copied from libguestfs, as it cannot be avoided.
The approach taken was to run a script (will send separately) to just
get the "p2v" subdirectory with its history as own repository, and then
add in few followup commits all the bits needed

Also it now passes a test where I compared about 100 disk images
processed with old and new virt-inspector binaries. The output is
identical in all cases except one which is caused by a bug in blkid
