[PATCH 1/1] ocaml: make const the return value of caml_named_value()
With OCaml >= 4.09 caml_named_value() returns a const value *, so keep the constness to build also in this case. --- common/mlpcre/pcre-c.c | 2 +- common/mltools/uri-c.c | 2 +- common/mlvisit/visit-c.c | 2 +- generator/daemon.ml | 2 +- 4 files changed, 4 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/common/mlpcre/pcre-c.c b/common/mlpcre/pcre-c.c index be054a004..62a6dd5da 100644

[PATCH 0/1] Build fix for future OCaml 4.09
This is a simple fix for building also with the upcoming OCaml 4.09, which has a slight API change in the C library. This does not cover embedded copies such as ocaml-augeas, and ocaml-libvirt, which are being fixed separately, and will then be synchronized. [PATCH 0/9] build: Require OCaml >= 4.02.
Per my previous email: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2017-September/msg00203.html I'd like to talk about requiring a more modern version of the OCaml compiler. These commits show some of the code changes which would be possible with OCaml >= 3.12 [which it turns out we already require by accident] and also with OCaml >= 4.02. The latter is my favoured option. Rich.

[PATCH] mllib: cast integer pointers to intptr_t as intermediate step
This make sure there is no mismatch between the size of the integer value that Int64_val returns, and the size of the guestfs_h pointer. This should fix the warning on 32bit environments (and thus build, when --enable-werror is enabled). --- mllib/visit-c.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/mllib/visit-c.c b/mllib/visit-c.c index b46dd33..b1c1216 100644 ---

[PATCH 0/4] sysprep: Remove various backup files.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1401320 This series contains two new operations. The second -- and least controversial -- is "passwd-backups" which removes files such as /etc/passwd-, /etc/shadow- and so on. The first one ("backup-files") searches the whole guest filesystem for any regular file which looks like an editor backup file, such as "*~" and

[PATCH v2 0/4] sysprep: Remove various backup files.
In v2: - The backup-files operation now operates on a conservative whitelist of filesystems, so it won't touch anything in /usr. Consequently it also runs much more quickly, about 4 seconds on the barebones virt-builder fedora-25 image. - Call Gc.compact () in visit_tests. - Added documentation to fnmatch.mli.

[PATCH] build: build C sources using OCaml API with CAML_NAME_SPACE
This way no non-namespaced OCaml C symbols are used, reducing the risk of clashes with other code. The only exception is ocaml-augeas, which does not build with CAML_NAME_SPACE; it will be fixed upstream, and it affects only ocaml-augeas itself. --- builder/Makefile.am | 2 ++ common/mllibvirt/Makefile.am | 1 + common/mlpcre/Makefile.am | 1 + common/mlprogress/Makefile.am | 1 +

[PATCH] po: reduce the list of extracted sources
Prune from the list of sources where to extract messages various sources with no messages: - .pl and .pm files, as they do not contain messages: almost all the .pl files are tests, and the only .pm file is the Perl Sys::Guestfs module, which wraps the XS extension - dummy.c sources; they are empty sources used to build OCaml-only targets using automake - gperf generated sources - C/OCaml

[PATCH v6 10/41] mllib, v2v: Split out OCaml utils bindings ‘common/mlutils’.
Create a module ‘C_utils’ containing functions like ‘drive_name’ and ‘shell_unquote’ which come from the C utilities. The new directory ‘common/mlutils’ also contains the ‘Unix_utils’ wrappers around POSIX functions missing from the OCaml stdlib. --- .gitignore | 3 + Makefile.am | 24 ++--- builder/Makefile.am

Segfault in GetNewPage, memory.c.
Hello. I'm still working on my OCaml-R binding and I get a segfault in the GetNewPage() function of memory.c. For the record, the OCaml-R binding seems to work fine with OCaml bytecode. The segfault here is the main issue I have with OCaml native code. OCaml-R can be found on the following links. Source code: http://yziquel.homelinux.org/gitweb/?p=ocaml-r.git;a=summary

[PATCH 00/28] libxl: ocaml: improve the bindings
The following series of patches fill in most of the gaps in the OCaml bindings to libxl, to make them useful for clients such as xapi/xenopsd (from XCP). There are a number of bugfixes to the existing bindings as well. I have an experimental version of xenopsd that successfully uses the new bindings. An earlier version of the first half of the series was submitted to the last by Ian Campbell on
