Yes, you're the second person who's asked in fact. It's building
now, so if it doesn't fail then it should be uploaded by end today.

I don't know if Dan B wants to chime in here, but can you try
out the following patch?

Re: question about libguestfs
Hi, Mr. Rich.
I am sorry that I left too little information in the last email because I

I wrote about my first question in the following link.

This is new information, and good that's how you should be building
libguestfs on RHEL or CentOS.

DATA LOSS BUG: Please DON'T use libguestfs 1.30.5
libguestfs 1.30.5 (and current upstream development version)
has a serious bug in virt-resize where logical partitions
get deleted.
For details, see:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1285847
In brief: don't use version 1.30.5 (1.30.4 is OK). I have removed the
tarball from the downloads directory.
I'll try to get 1.30.6 out with a fix as soon as possible.

Libguestfs for RHEL 7.6 preview
As in the past, we have an unofficial, unsupported, unsigned yum
repository containing a preview of the libguestfs and virt-v2v RHEL 7.6
packages:

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT RED HAT SUPPORT ABOUT THESE PACKAGES. If you
find any problems, contact the upstream mailing list directly by

Re: Plan for libguestfs 1.28
HI, Richard
Is there any plan to make daemon to directly run on the hypervisor,
not starting a guest? e.g. directly export a guest image to be a block
device on the hypervisor?

Yes this patch appears to fix all the problems. Can it
be applied to libvirt?

Plan for libguestfs 1.14
[Since Hilko asked me about this on IRC ...]
The current plan is to rebase libguestfs in RHEL 6.3:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=719879
I would like to get as many features from upstream libguestfs into
this as possible, but also make sure they have been well-tested by
Fedora users. Also there are some new tools arriving in libguestfs
upstream in the current development branch
