[PATCH v3] v2v: linux: use NEVR for querying RPM packages (RHBZ#1669395)
Use NEVR when querying RPM for the list of files of a package, instead
of ENVR. Also, use the epoch only when non-zero, and version of RPM
supports it.
The approach is basically copied from what supermin does in its RPM
package handler.

[PATCH] v2v: Fix kernel disambiguation by dropping Epoch field (RHBZ#1669395).
When detecting kernels we have to list the files in the package to
find the right /boot/vmlinuz file.
In virt-v2v 1.28 we ran:
rpm -ql kernel
Because multiple kernels can be installed this gave incorrect results,
which was reported in RHBZ#1161250 and initially fixed in
commit 377bc302f11db3da4263f894c76a7d280fb25dbd. This changed the
command to:
rpm -ql [epoch:]kernel-version.release

[supermin PATCH 0/5] rpm: fix package selection w/ multilib
This patch series fixes the way supermin sorts the list of installed
packages when resolving a name, picking the right package for the host
architecture.
Pino Toscano (5):
rpm: do not unpack parameters
rpm: fix version comparison
rpm: query the RPM architecture
rpm: fix package sorting (RHBZ#1696822)
utils: remove unused 'compare_architecture' function

[PATCH v2 0/3] New inspect_list_applications2 API
Here's the new API method and update to virt-inspector. I still need
to implement app_arch for debian and windows (if applicable), for now
they just return empty strings.
New in v2: incorporated feedback from v1, also added patch #3 which
updates the documentation where it references the deprecated API.
Take it or leave it.

[PATCH 0/2] supermin: use librpm for rpm support
Hi,
this work makes supermin use the rpm library instead of invoking rpm
directly. This, together with a needed refactoring of the dependency
resolution, should help in make supermin faster on rpm-based systems.
Surely the patches will still need polishing, especially for behaviours
of newly added stuff, but at least it's a good starting point.
Noting that you need rpm-devel on most of rpm

[PATCH v2 0/4] common/utils: Move libxml2 writer macros to a common header file.
v1 was here:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2018-October/msg00047.html
However it was broken in a few ways. First of all the documentation
was broken because "/**" enhanced comments were not permitted on
macros. This is fixed in the new 1/4 patch.
Secondly we didn't use single_element() everywhere possible, which
is fixed in the new 4/4 patch.
Lastly I've

[PATCH v2 3/4] inspector: Use libxml writer macros.
Change virt-inspector so it uses the common set of macros. I also
added:
- single_element():
creates <foo>bar</foo> which is used extensively by virt-inspector
- base64():
used by virt-inspector for the icon

[PATCH 11/11] v2v: improve initrd search
To make sure we can also find the initrd on openSUSE and SLES, we need two improvements:
* the initrd filename may not end with '.img'
* don't use the version + release from the RPM data, rather from the
/lib/modules/<version>/ path as we need to find it out anyway.

[PATCH v2 00/11] Getting it work with SLES / openSUSE
Hi all,
v2 includes all comments from Pino and Richard. I also removed the
mkdir /run/lvm in the init since it only failed in one case and couldn't
reproduce it anymore.

updating libvorbis
Hello,
On a machine with CentOS-5.6, I need libvorbis >= 1.2, so I have
recompiled and packaged libvorbis.
But I get the following error :

[PATCH 2/7] v2v: add basic support for the "deb" package manager
Implement the 'remove', 'file_list_of_package', and 'file_owner' methods
of the Linux module for the "deb" package manager (dpkg basically, on
Debian and derived distributions).
Also allow it for the main conversion code.
