Has anyone had any problems with the voicemail app in the last weeks cvs? I was using a checkout from 10-31 and everything worked fine, but the last few days I get a hangup right after it calls the voicemail app. No sound, just an immediate disconnect. Nothing has changed in my extensions.conf, etc. Here is what I have in extensions.conf: [macro-oneline] exten => s,1,Dial(${ARG1},20,tr)

Statistical Quality Control
Greetings, I've been familiarizing myself with the features of R over the past few days. I'm impressed with the quality and quantity of the features and packages. One feature that I would be interested in would be a package for statistical quality control. Does a package for statistical quality control exist that I've been unable to locate? If not, is anyone aware of efforts to

NFS new security requirements?
Hi I've suddenly lost access to some permanent cross-server shares. I think this was following the Nov 5 new kernel, rather than the Centos version upgrade. I don't see any difference to man mount.nfs I have:- [root at hs6 ~]# mount hs8:/data /sysback/hs8-data -v mount: no type was given - I'll assume nfs because of the colon mount: trying 172.26.0.8 prog 100003 vers 3 prot tcp port

It sounds like you have something installed that doesn't need to be or shouldn't be installed. Under what circumstances does that message appear? I haven't seen it on any of my C8 systems,

user not in group
I recently replaced a samba server with a new machine. Version 3.0.14 was used on the old server and is used on the new server as well. I copied all of the configuration files using rsync from the old server to the new server. Now I have one user that cannot access a share on the new server, but that could be accessed on the old server. After much troubleshooting I have isolated the problem to

Including R code from another package...
R-developers: I had a quick question for the group -- let's say a package I am developing depends on a single, small function from a large CRAN-listed package. I can, of course, set a dependency within my own package, but are there means by which I can include the R script + man file DIRECTLY in my package (of course attributing the code to the original programmer). Does it require me

dbus packages' versions not making sense
I have installed 1.12.8-10.el8_2, but when trying to install dbus-devel it is not available for that version, only 1.12.8-9.el8, which is also not available. Suggestions? # yum list | grep dbus dbus.x86_64 1:1.12.8-10.el8_2 @BaseOS dbus-common.noarch 1:1.12.8-10.el8_2

NFS lockups
I thought this had been fixed with newer kernels? We have an old Maxtor Snap Server, an 80 GB NAS unit, containing some of our archives. Both of our CentOS servers have it permanently mounted by NFS for convenient access. This weekend, I discovered remotely that, although all systems except the VRTSralus remote agents for Veritas (now Symantec) Backup Exec were working just fine, both servers

Metaplot Axis Annotation
Hello, We are looking to adjust the font size of the axis annotation on the graph that results from use of the metaplot() function. Metaplot seems to respond to cex and cex.lab to change those graphical parameters, but it doesn't respond to cex.axis. Is there a way to work around this by creating a customized x-axis, and if so, how? Thanks for all your help. Syntax is below. Best, Dawn
