[PATCH 0/5] Split virt-p2v in own repository
Hi, as it was already discussed on this list, here it is my attempt in splitting virt-p2v in an own repository. Sadly there are things that must be copied from libguestfs, as it cannot be avoided. The approach taken was to run a script (will send separately) to just get the "p2v" subdirectory with its history as own repository, and then add in few followup commits all the bits needed

Build of RELENG_5 fails in libmagic
Hi, I'm trying to build 5-STABLE, I have cvsuped the latest source, cleared out /usr/obj and I still get this problem. Any idea what could be causing it? [0/5] guestfish: detect stdout-write failure
Nearly any program that writes to standard output can benefit from this sort of fix. Without it, running e.g., ./guestfish --version > /dev/full would exit successfully, even though it got ENOSPC when writing to the full device. That means regular output redirected to a file on a full partition may also fail to be written, and the error ignored. Before: $ guestfish --version >

using gnulib from daemon/
Hi Rich, Prompted by your "New commands to list devices by UUID and label" patch, I've adjusted it to use gnulib. While just compiling hash.[ch] is probably ok, in general (given the strict requirements of libguestfs) using the C files of a module is usually not an option, since you don't get the benefit of the module's m4 tests or automake snippets. For other modules,

Question about the ticket #743 omindex: delay libmagic checks
Hi, I'm working on the ticket #743 omindex: delay libmagic checks <https://trac.xapian.org/ticket/743>. As the ticket's Description mention, the call to libmagic is expensive than call the stat, so we can check the size by call the stat to get size before call libmagic to get a mime type. But how about the timestamps check? since timestamps check need to iterate the DB to check if

[PATCH] docs: fix instructions for building from git
On current Fedora releases the ocaml modules will fail to link unless CFLAGS contains -fPIC. The autogen.sh script only updates the 'gnulib' submodule, and so the build will fail due to the missing 'common' submodule. This needs to be manually initialized at checkout. Please Help me!
Hi, R-users, I have a problem: Because there are few files which can't be readed into R completely, so on the following subsequence programme, I use write.table, which creates the "NA" files for those incomplete files autimatically. I don't want those NA files. My programes formats looks like: name_c<-Sys.glob("C:/Documents and Settings/lma/My
