[PATCH] p2v: require a non-interative sudo (RHBZ#1340809)
Run sudo with -n (non-interactive), so it will fail right away when not
configured to not require a password. This will avoid the connection to
time out.

Now that virt-p2v has its own repository [1] and releases [2], it is
time to remove it from libguestfs.

Problems with 1.8.6
Hi all,
Recently a user of my editor (Hamr) reported that while using ruby
1.8.6 on windows, the close button would re-open the entire
application once and quit. I heard that 1.8.6 has had problems with
SOAP because it double posts. Is there something completely screwed up
in 1.8.6 or did I make a programming error? :)

Ruby IDE with wxRuby
Hello All,
There seems to have been a lot of interest in getting wxScintilla
incorperated, and I think most of us who want it, want it so we can
create an editor, so to avoid multiple projects comming out with the
same goal (Not really that bad of a problem....), I''m going to kick
start this, and ask that anyone interested in developing a Editor with
wxRuby and wxScintilla, to send

[PATCH 0/4] p2v: Send ^C to remote end to cancel the conversion.
(I don't have a BZ# for this yet, but I'm expecting it to be
filed as an RFE)
Currently if the user is in the virt-p2v GUI and cancels the
conversion, all that happens is we abruptly close the ssh session to
virt-v2v.
That is bad .. possibly (or maybe not). But in any case there is an
alternative: we can send a ^C key to the virt-v2v process, which it
could catch and handle gracefully,

Anvil: an application framework
Hi everyone! I have been working on idea for an application framework in ruby the wraps around the wx ruby gem. The goal is to make a framework that is as easy as rails create applications using concise and dry ruby code. We are in need of some experienced help! If you are interested checkout the project on ruby forge. Anvil.rubyforge.com and the irc channel is #rubyanvil on irc . My buck on irc

[PATCH hmm 1/5] mm/hmm: make CONFIG_DEVICE_PRIVATE into a select
From: Jason Gunthorpe <jgg at mellanox.com>
There is no reason for a user to select this or not directly - it should
be selected by drivers that are going to use the feature, similar to how
CONFIG_HMM_MIRROR works.
Currently all drivers provide a feature kconfig that will disable use of
DEVICE_PRIVATE in that driver, allowing users to avoid enabling this if
they don't want the

[PATCH 0/7] p2v: Multiple improvements to the look of virt-p2v.
In the run dialog, I have implemented an ANSI colour escape sequence
interpreter, so that colours displayed by the remote virt-v2v are now
shown to the user.
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1314244)
This requires virt-v2v to send colours. It wasn't doing that because
the output was a pipe (as we capture the output into the log file).
So I added a global --colours option to make

[PATCH RFC 2/3] vfio: report group noiommu status
When using vfio, callers might want to know whether device is added to a
regular group or an non-iommu group.
Report this status from vfio_add_group_dev.

Communicating Worker-to-Worker
Hi everyone,
I have two workers, a connection_worker and an interface_worker, that I want
to be able to call methods on each other. Initially I thought I could do
this:
connection_worker
def alive?
return true
end
end
interface_worker
def test_connection
if MiddleMan.worker(:connection_worker).alive?(true)
return true
end
end
end
Obviously this is a somewhat contrived

[PATCH] p2v: wait for qemu-nbd before starting conversion (RHBZ#1167774)
Wait up to 10 seconds for qemu-nbd to start up and respond to clients.
Otherwise the conversion server may attempt to connect before qemu-nbd
is ready to serve it.

[PATCH 10/10] Fix BusLogic to stop using check_region
I got so sick of seing the check_region warnings from BusLogic.c I actually
fixed it properly. Never use check region, reserve it before the probe
with request region instead and check the error result; free region if
setup fails. Should be functionally identical to the original except for
fixing the potential race.
