[PATCH] builder: Allow GnuPG v2 or v1 to be used (RHBZ#1438939).
All of the GPG commands we run are compatible with either v1 or v2, so this simply involves changing the configure script to find either binary. --- builder/cmdline.ml | 2 +- docs/guestfs-building.pod | 17 ++++++++++++++++- m4/guestfs_progs.m4 | 19 +++++++++++++++++++ mllib/guestfs_config.ml.in | 1 + 4 files changed, 37 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git

Can we move them to a regular default location (/etc/virt-builder)? I

[PATCH v6 04/41] mllib: Split ‘Common_utils’ into ‘Std_utils’ + ‘Common_utils’.
The new module ‘Std_utils’ contains only functions which are pure OCaml and depend only on the OCaml stdlib. Therefore these functions may be used by the generator. The new module is moved to ‘common/mlstdutils’. This also removes the "<stdlib>" hack, and the code which copied the library around. Also ‘Guestfs_config’, ‘Libdir’ and ‘StringMap’ modules are moved since these are

[PATCH 0/8] virt-builder: use .conf files for configuration
Hi, attached there is a serie of patches that completes the work on making virt-builder use .conf files, shipped in XDG directories, to configure all the available sources of indexes used. This also removes the hardcoded default location, replaced now with a configuration file (which may be not used at all). Thanks, Pino Toscano (8): builder: allow "no key" as key in Sigchecker

Adding XDG BDS paths *as fallbacks only*, not replacing ~/.ssh
Since I can't help but feel like my previous email is already being flat-out ignored, I would just like to reiterate: - I am not asking for ~/.ssh to stop being used. - I am happy to contribute this myself with the blessing of the devs. All I would like is to be able to move files within ~/.ssh to their appropriate XDG paths and have OpenSSH continue to find these files without me needing to

[PATCH 5/5] mllib: Replace various ad hoc string_* functions with String.*
This is just a straight refactoring. Various ad hoc string_* functions that appeared in Common_utils have been renamed and placed in the String.* namespace. The old vs "new" functions are: string_prefix -> String.is_prefix string_suffix -> String.is_suffix string_find -> String.find replace_str -> String.replace string_nsplit -> String.nsplit string_split

Request: Add XDG Base Directory paths as fallback locations
Hello. I'd like to preface this by saying that while this can be considered a feature request, I am more than happy to contribute a patch myself that would deliver this. I am aware that in the past there has been some hostility towards the suggestion to adhere to the XDG Base Directory Specification for OpenSSH and its various configuration files. For the record, I am not asking for any of

[fdo] $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/vcsd/config.d vs $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/vcsd.d
Dear all, I am wondering if there are any best practices when you need a subdirectory in a program's config namespace. Basically, I have two choices: $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/vcsd/config.d $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/vcsd.d I think I am leaning towards the latter, but I would prefer going after established best practices. FWIW, the latter option follows what is done in /etc by most programs. In case

[PATCH] generator: Share Common_utils code.
For a very long time we have maintained two sets of utility functions, in mllib/common_utils.ml and generator/utils.ml. This changes things so that the same set of utility functions can be shared with both directories. It's not possible to use common_utils.ml directly in the generator because it provides several functions that use modules outside the OCaml stdlib. Therefore we add some

problem with Rmpi 0.5-5 and openmpi
Dear knowledgeable experts :-), I am trying to get openmpi, Rmpi and SNOW running on a Myrinet/GM cluster. I'm not an IT expert, but I surely could use a working installation of Rmpi and SNOW. [PATCH] builder: use the template arch when caching all templates
When caching all the templates, use the architecture of each template, instead of the architecture passed as --arch (or the host architecture, as default). This way, the right destination filename will be used. Fixes commit b1cf6246f3c80762cf27dbdb24168589a34daf00. Thanks to: Erik Skultety. --- builder/Makefile.am | 2 + builder/builder.ml | 4 +-

[PATCH 2/2] ocaml tools: Use a common debug function.
Add a common debug function for printing debugging messages. It only emits the debug message when the verbose (-v) flag is used on the command line. It sends the output to stderr, which is flushed immediately after the message is printed (to help with debugging unexpected crashes). There are good arguments for sending the debug to either stdout or stderr, and almost all existing debug messages
