similar to: Framemaker 7.0 Is Alive

I spent the morning hacking around with Wine 20040121 and Framemaker 7.0. The install appears to go off without a hitch aside from menubuilder problems, but the application terminates before anything interesting happens. I tried running as version win2k and win95, with and without dcom95. Has anyone had any better success with Framemaker recently? Thanks, Mike Kost mike at tashcorp dot net

HI Trying to install Divx9 using winetricks. Using Ubuntu 8.10 and have cabextract installed, and my graphics card has it's driver installed (NVIDIA GEforce FX 5200). Perhaps this has been mentioned and I wasn't paying attention. When I try to import a postscript file (which is EPS according to the R help on postscript) my Framemaker filter chokes. If I simply edit the first line of the file to put %!PS-Adobe-3.0 EPSF-3.0 rather than %!PS-Adobe-3.0 it works just fine. It sure would be simpler if the postscipt driver put this in the file.
